Continuing in the same mood and spirit and next we have a first taste and preview of Beatbender‘s upcoming single “Elevate” which was made public yesterday with this video teaser. Fresh and different, “Elevate” is the 2nd single from Beatbender’s upcoming LP, due for release in winter 2015. After the dark and heavy “Anti Optimism”, the duo’s new single is an elevating track and great example of the thrills and twists the Portuguese duo has in store for us with their debut forthcoming album. The “Elevate” single will be out on Jet Set Trash on December 19 including 2 remixes by Hijack Da Bass who gives the original the trademark HDB hard Electro sound as well as Noblesse who add their own touch to the release with an 8 minute long Electro-Techno remix. Nice and dark looking imagery as well in this video, which only leaves us wanting more and looking forward to both the release of the single/LP as well as the release of the full official music video of “Elevate”, which according to the label’s Facebook page will be made public with the release of “Elevate” LP. So, check this teaser out to get an idea and stay tuned because it seems like there’s plenty coming by Beatbender in the months to follow.

Staying on the bassy and underground side of the dirty Electro sounds and going on with one more new release and the 6th (if not mistaken) official EP release by Russian duo The Unique Yagark who no doubt have been making steps forward during the last few months. And if their “Alina” EP, released on Jet Set Trash back in June 2014, was the duo’s best work up to date (which it was) their new EP “Acid Dance” comes along to take The Unique Yagark on a new all time high. Bigger, better, louder and definitely more mature than any of their previous releases, “Acid Dance” EP is solid proof that these guy are not only making big steps forward with every new track they release but leaves the impression that there is a lot more to come by them too. 3 new originals plus 2 remixes by Troublegum and Karluv Klub, which admittedly are a perfect match both in terms of sound and mood with The Unique Yagark‘s originals and a very well balanced release overall that should satisfy the hardcore ravers, trashy bassheads and generally speaking all die hard Electro fans. Check out the preview!

Another release that has definitely stood out so far this week is by the French up and comer and super talented artist that goes by the name M.A.D.E.S. So far M.A.D.E.S has been featured a few times here with some free tracks and has been mentioned for his collaborations with Blaster and official remixes for Dizkodeath and most recently Beef Theatre. All impressive work and definitely paving the path for an official release, which as it was expected followed on the London (UK) based JST Records. And if there is one thing we can say with absolute certainty is that M.A.D.E.S didn’t disappoint. Atmospheric and powerful at the same time the 2 originals move between orchestral hard Electro and Electro House with a touch of Complextro. Full of energy and great melodies, the youngster from Lille is the perfect meeting point between Outrun/80’s Electro feel and a more contemporary Electro sound, a perfect mix of Kavinsky and F.O.O.L if you like and you need some references to some more known artists. As for his debut EP “Requiem”, besides the 2 perfect examples of what M.A.D.E.S is capable of in the 2 originals the EP comes with 2 remixes too by GoingNuts and No Fake? who both gave the tracks a Dubstep twist. Definitely a release to check out and even more definitely an artist to keep your eyes and ears on as we are more than certain that this is only the beginning!

It’s been a while since a video teaser for Dizkodeath‘s “Orchid” appeared on the web teasing us with some nice raw and dark imagery for the artist’s single “Orchid”. Now finally the full official video for the track has been released, following the German artist’s debut LP. Lo-fi and distorted, the video of “Orchid” follows the exact same recipy you would expect if you’ve checked out Dizkodeath‘s music. Heavy and groovy hard Electro with a ‘deadly’ twist, the video of “Orchid” moves at a slow pace, yet it will hypnotise and suck you in with it’ atmopsheric imagery. Don’t expect fancy tricks and polished post-production but a theme that would probably suit a new wave or gothic video quite well too, with a rough edge to it which works perfectly well and sets the mood to listen to the whole “Raw” LP. So here it is, check it out and if you missed Dizkodeath‘s debut LP better check that out too here!

When talking about great new releases it would be a sin not to spend some time talking about Dizkodeath‘s debut album “Raw”. Out on Jet Set Trash, “Raw” is definitely a long awaited and anticipated LP and it was worth the wait by all means! The German artist had been already leaving very good impressions and therefore had our support on this blog since the very early days and his “Fear” Free EP (which was a Metalectro Exclusive Free EP) but he has certainly grown a lot since then in every way an artist should. Since then he has evolved his style into a hard Electro – Indie Dance kind of mix, influenced heavily by Justice and the hard French Electro scene with a Punk Rock edge and attitude and a Disco groove (see “Over” feat. Dana Jean Phoenix). His 4 lead singles “Revolver”, “Wizard”, “Vendetta” and “Orchid” released over the last 12 months with some big remixes definitely attracted quite a bit of attention on the up & coming and super talented artist and he in his turn didn’t fail to deliver and keep impressing with his LP. “Raw” includes 8 new and previously unheard original tracks and really there is not one boring second throughout the whole album. Definitely an LP that packs a lot of inspiration, as well as raw power and style, especially in an era that the Electronic music world is plagued by a soulless cookie cutter ‘sample library’ mentality that leaves a little to no room for creativity. Dizkodeath just doesn’t care to follow any of that mentality and that’s another plus for the artist to be added on top of the already huge “Raw” LP. Simply put, all fans of hard electronic music should listen to this album!
