Imagin8 “Midnight” http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/01/21/imagin8-midnight/ http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/01/21/imagin8-midnight/#comments Wed, 21 Jan 2015 16:48:42 +0000 http://www.metalectro-music.com/?p=29950 [...]]]> Another young artist who has been impressive so far with anything he has produced and especially his Dubstep tracks, is Boston (USA) based Imagin8 who last month had his new single “Midnight” released on Jet Set Trash. After a single on Most Addictive MusicImagin8 is back on the London bass heavyweight label with 2 new originals, one being a massive Dubstep and one a melodic and very catchy vocal Drumstep track. And if you enjoyed Imagin8‘s previous works and more specifically his dark and heavy Dubstep tracks (Pure Justice, Restless Slumber remix or Battle On The Hill) then you’re in for a special treat with “Midnight Shenanigans”, the opening track from “Midnight”, which is definitely both Imagin8‘s best original up to date and one of our favorite recent Dubstep tracks. Huge sound design and massive “growls”, dark atmosphere and big bad drops is what you can expect in this one, followed by some catchy and more EDM-esque vocal Drumstep in “When You Come Home”, which serves as the release’s b-side track. Two very good tracks with high production standards that you should check out by all means so hit play in the player below and enjoy.

And thy name is Oxylice, who just had his comeback EP “Crossroads” released on Simplify Recordings just over a week ago. Including 3 original tracks “Crossroads” EP is a very nice mix of Glitch Hop, ElectroHouse (with the classic Oxylice complextro parts) and Dubstep with nice production and overall flow. Definitely a nice comeback release by the youngster from Belgium which makes us hope he’s back for good and is already cooking up some more fresh music. Check out “Crossroads” EP!

Out on London based Sons Of Noise Records almost a month ago, “Withcing Hour” EP comes with 4 original track which move between Dubstep, Electro, Drum & Bass, Glitch Hop and pretty much each and every electronic bass music sub-genre, something that has works pretty nice as Inque has successfully managed to maintain a dark and heavy atmosphere throughout the EP. Definitely a release that has left us with a very positive buzz in our ears and places Inque on our radar for good as one of those new and “to be watched closely” up and comers. Check his debut EP and stay tuned for more by him.

Trumpdisco “Third” Pt. 2 http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/01/20/trumpdisco-third-pt-2/ http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/01/20/trumpdisco-third-pt-2/#comments Tue, 20 Jan 2015 16:05:29 +0000 http://www.metalectro-music.com/?p=29924 [...]]]> Starting the day with some Electro coming from Australian Trumpdisco, who recently had his “Third Pt. 2” EP released on No Tomorrow Recordings. Those of you following Trumpdisco and familiar with his work (recent and older) shouldn’t be surprised really by “Third Pt. 2“. A mix of the heavy Electro we got to know by the Australian bass heavyweight with new cleaner sounds and even a more housy or dark-tech feel at points, which on one hand should make “Third Pt. 2” easier accessible to a larger audience but also might disappoint some of the old school die hard trash-head fans. Nevertheless, it definitely showcased Trumpdisco‘s ability to come up with more than heavy basslines and even though it’s not among his heavier releases, we can’t say it doesn’t come with some classic Trumpdisco moments which we certainly enjoyed. Check it out!

Those of you who are familiar with the Japanese artist’s sound then you know what to expect, as for those who aren’t, prepare to get your eardrums blasted away with megatons of bass. It’s no secret anyway that Dubscribe likes to go heavy and “Venom” is no exception. Two originals both rich in raw, machine gun bass that all heavy Dubstep fans will enjoy and love. Check out Dubscribe‘s “Venom”, let the “wall of sound” smash you right in the face and of course, play it loud!

Beatbender “Elevate” [Preview] http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/01/19/beatbender-elevate-preview/ http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/01/19/beatbender-elevate-preview/#comments Mon, 19 Jan 2015 16:10:06 +0000 http://www.metalectro-music.com/?p=29929 [...]]]> Hello-o and after a silent period we’re back in full action and ready to make some noise, with some of our favorite artists and sounds. Quite a bit of catching up to do as well since this is our first post of 2015, meaning there are still a few 2014 releases to blogged about since it’s never too late to blog about good music. So, let’s get on it and for starters here’s Beatbender‘s latest single “Elevate”, which was out on Jet Set Trash a month ago, including remixes by Hijack Da Bass and Noblesse. “Elevate” is the second single from Beatbender‘s upcoming LP and another dark, yet fresh, different and elevating track. As for the remixes, Hijack Da Bass gives the original the trademark hard Electro sound we have come to know and love by HDB, whereas Noblesse adds his very own personal touch to the release with an 8 minute long Electro-Techno remix. Definitely a single which especially being the follow up release of Beatbender‘s “Anti Optimism” leaves us vert curious about what the duo’s debut full album will sound like as judging by what we’ve heard so far there won’t be any shortage of moodswings, variety and freshness while at the same time maintaining a dark atmosphere throughout the LP. But let’s wait to hear to more tracks/previews from the full LP before making any further assumptions. Until then, check this one out!

It’s been a while since we heard some new music coming out from the UK based artist, actually since his track for the last Metalectro contest and compilation if not mistaken, so it’s definitely nice to know he’s back in the studio working on some new material. “Paralytic” includes a Dubstep original, featuring London’s Hip-Hop trio Vice Versa on vocals as well as a great Electro House remix by Prismatic. Definitely a nice comeback release by Flybug who according to the Jet Set Trash announced release schedule should have another single out before the end of the year, his second during December, so check out “Paralytic” and stay tuned for more by him!
