The two Electro Punksters from the greater Milan area just had their 5th EP released on Jet Set Trash a couple of days ago and if any of you don’t know yet what that means please take a moment and listen as Electro doesn’t come any louder and dirtier than this. 5 new originals, with one of them being available as a free download too, which bring together all those Laforcah characteristic elements and sounds we’ve heard in the duo’s previous 4 releases. But Laforcah didn’t stick only to what we’ve been used to hear from them and decided to explore new territories too with “Dusk”, a heavy and dark Electronica track that definitely left our eardrums happily buzzing. If there’s one thing these guys have proven with their releases so far is that they aren’t prepared to go light and “Dirty” EP comes to confirm that once again.

The Return Of (The Good Old) Cyberpunkers http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/05/19/the-return-of-the-good-old-cyberpunkers/ http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/05/19/the-return-of-the-good-old-cyberpunkers/#comments Tue, 19 May 2015 17:14:44 +0000 http://www.metalectro-music.com/?p=30611 [...]]]> Italian hard Electro duo Cyberpunkers are back with a new (Free) EP and well, this time they have brought some of the good ol’ cyberpunker sound with them. The duo had been quite keen on trying out different ways of evolving their sound in recent releases, most of them clever too, something that to be honest never quite worked as good as many of their fans would have wanted and hoped for. This time though Cyberpunkers appear refreshed, inspired and in a sense opening up again to their earlier period Electro Punk/Indie Dance/Hard Electro influences and urges and well, it was about time too if you ask us. The duo has also tried some fresh ideas too, with Cyberpunkers trying their masks in some Electronica with “The Lonely Journey”, a very enjoyable track and a direction/sound that seems to suit the duo quite nicely. Here’s “Sick Tracks” EP, check it out and don’t forget to grab your free copy.

Review: Iron Court “Device” EP http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/05/19/review-iron-court-device-ep/ http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/05/19/review-iron-court-device-ep/#comments Tue, 19 May 2015 15:16:32 +0000 http://www.metalectro-music.com/?p=30607 [...]]]> Starting the day with a free release by Iron Court who made available two new originals “Engine” and “Device” a few days ago on Soundcloud, although if you want to add the tracks to your mp3 collection you have to email the artist himself and ask for a promo since no download have been made available. The tracks are a mix of Techno, Electronica and Electro (with some Acid touches) although they are staying on the dark and heavy side of the Electronic music spectrum. An interesting mix of styles and sounds to say the least, and two tracks fans of artists like GTronic and the other European Electro-trash heavies should enjoy. Definitely worth a listen, so press play and check it out.

The three original on “Enemy” EP are a mix of Electro House/Complextro, Dubstep and Drumstep with all tracks coming at you with full speed and tons of energy and if you’re looking for some groundbreaking Electronic music that you’ve never heard before you might be disappointed since Blaynoise‘s EP isn’t trying to revolutionise electronic music as we know it but to get you off your feet and make you move, which it does very well. Definitely a very nice release with nice production and flow overall. Check it out!

Review: Kroyclub “Raw Rave 89″ LP http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/05/13/review-kroyclub-raw-rave-89-lp/ http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/05/13/review-kroyclub-raw-rave-89-lp/#comments Wed, 13 May 2015 16:20:04 +0000 http://www.metalectro-music.com/?p=30584 [...]]]> For anyone following the “four to the floor” European (mainly) trash Electro sound should be familiar with Maehtrasher Records by now, which has been delivering their mix of heavy Electro and techno constantly over the last few years. And the latest release by the German label, out yesterday and coming by Kroyclub, is definitely a nice addition to the Maehtrasher catalogue. Including 17 originals, including a couple of collaborations with Australian artist Your Ol’ Lady and label boss aUtOdiDakT among them, the USA based youngste’s second album is what the title suggests with his raw and heavy bass Electro, plus an added extra pinch of Electronica and Hip-Hop to spice things up and keep it tasty. So, check out the album preview and happy (raw) raving!

Review: Modestep “Machines” http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/05/07/review-modestep-machines/ http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/05/07/review-modestep-machines/#comments Thu, 07 May 2015 15:54:36 +0000 http://www.metalectro-music.com/?p=30572 [...]]]> Time to plug in some guitars and rock some socks off and Modestep are definitely a name that seems to always find ways to do just that. With their new album “London Road” being on the way (set for release on May 26th) and the single “Machines” out about a couple of weeks ago, alongside two remixes by Mefjus (Drum N Bass), Tru Fonix (House) and an official music video, we thought it was definitely worth some space on this blog as we quite enjoyed both the original and Mefjus remix. Both tracks are most certainly are on the hard and heavy side of Electronic music meaning that should keep all you bass maniacs pretty happy, so here come the “Machines” and why not go full audiovisual too since we can with the video of the original? Enjoy!

Review: Nero “The Thrill” EP http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/05/06/review-nero-the-thrill-ep/ http://www.metalectro-music.com/2015/05/06/review-nero-the-thrill-ep/#comments Wed, 06 May 2015 17:13:00 +0000 http://www.metalectro-music.com/?p=30567 [...]]]> A release that many will be definitely be looking forward to is Nero‘s “The Thrill” and of course when a name of the size and statue of Nero has a new or upcoming release, the expectations, anticipation and hype around it make it really hard to miss, especially when the release comes with a remix by Porter Robinson too which took over most electronic music blogs immediately after going live. Now the full release has been made available publicly for streaming and while most blogs and music sites were ecstatic with Porter Robinson‘s remix of “The Thrill” which undoubtedly is a remix of both quality, musical intelligence and creativity, it was another remix that alongside the orignal mix really stood out for us from Nero‘s upcoming EP. Canadian artist Rene La Vice literally transformed the original into a beautiful, heavier and darker Drum N Bass hymn which is worth all the hype and love it will possibly receive. Definitely one to check out but here’s the full release for you listening pleasure.
