Time to put the pedal to the metal and live up to our name as Metalectro, with who else than Master Boot Record of course? Because what’s best than a song that combines Electronic and Metal music? Well, how about a brand new 9 original track album (7 + 2 bonus tracks available on Bandcamp)? The album is titled “C:\>COPY *.* A: /V” and is the Italian artist’s fifth album since Setpember 2016. Continue reading »

Starting the week with some fresh blood and some fresh music by The Encounter. An artist whose music has been in our radar for the last few months, although we only now got around to write about it since the New Jersey, USA, based artist had his new album “Bad Mood” out. Self-released a couple of weeks ago The Encounter‘s new LP comes with nine original Electro tracks, with some of them moving towards a more slow, stripped down and almost hypnotic Synthwave/Retrowave direction, while others follow a more hi-energy hard Electro or even Future Techno influenced approach. Besides, it’s no secret and everyone who’s been following the blog for a while now should already know we’ve always enjoyed most music coming by the Netherlands based heavyhitter label, even more so when it comes from the label bosses Black Sun Empire. And as interesting and exciting it is to finally have some new music by the trio to writte about, things get even better when you realise that their new single features also Noisia Continue reading »

Continuing our descend into the darkest depths or Electronic music’s underground (yeah well, what else is new right?) with a new artist and release by USA based producer Mr. Kristopher, which was out last week on Jet Set Trash. “Communion” is the title of Mr. Kristopher‘s new EP which comes with 5 original Electro (House) tracks. But don’t be fooled by the “genreficiation” we went with because “Communion” is everything you wouldn’t really expect from what is normally considered or perceived as Electro House these days and is definitely no main-stage/EDM material, it most deifinitely is dancefloor burner stuff without a doubt though. Heavily influenced by Industrial/EBM and the dark side of Techno, Continue reading »
