Beef Theatre “Like This” EP

Hell-o all and here we are ready to welcome the weekend that’s just around the corner, so let’s get big today and set the mood right right from the start, with Beef Theatre’s new EP “Like This”, out on Jet Set Trash a few days ago. 3 new original tracks from the German duo, one of them available as a free download too, who deliver some very high quality Electro House with their new EP. A bit too “housy” and more commercial at points, especially comparing to some of the duo’s past work but having said that “Like This” EP is also some of Beef Theatre‘s best work to date. Highlight of the EP, the main and opening track “Like This”, which is definitely some top class Electro House. Not only it takes the duo’s production standards to the next level but also keeps a perfect balance between bouncy, club friendly Electro House with an Acid touch and the harder side of Beef Theatre. A floorfiller by all means and a track/release you should totally check out, whether you like your Electro hard or not.

Hell-o to all and today we start the day with the return of an artist who hasn’t been featured here for quite some time since he hasn’t been so active lately, but we are definitely glad to welcome him back on Metalectro with a new release. And thy name is Oxylice, who just had his comeback EP “Crossroads” released on Simplify Recordings just over a week ago. Including 3 original tracks “Crossroads” EP is a very nice mix of Glitch Hop, ElectroHouse (with the classic Oxylice complextro parts) and Dubstep with nice production and overall flow. Definitely a nice comeback release by the youngster from Belgium which makes us hope he’s back for good and is already cooking up some more fresh music. Check out “Crossroads” EP!

Onwards for the final post for today and here comes the “remix of the day” which is no other than this super powerfull Ryle remix of Tim Ismag‘s “Anime Fight”. Taken from Tim Ismag‘s “Anime Fight” EP that was released on Rottun ten days ago, including the original mix of the track plus 3 further remixes by Trinergy, VMP and Nerd Rage, Ryle‘s remix is a raging bass beast delivering megatons of energy and needless to say, our favorite from the EP as well. An undisputed remix of the day by our standards and definitely a remix that not only keeps the standards high for Ryle after his remix of Combichrist “From My Cold Dead Hands” but even raising them and leaves us looking forward to what comes next by the USA based artist. So boys and girls, fasten your seatbelts and get ready for take off because Ryle‘s remix of “Anime Fight” is not to be taken lightly. Turn the volume way up and press play below!

Flybug “Paralytic”

Following a less “bassy” opening post it’s time to move on to some more familiar and heavy sounds and here comes Flybug‘s new single “Paralytic”, which was released a few days ago on Jet Set Trash. It’s been a while since we heard some new music coming out from the UK based artist, actually since his track for the last Metalectro contest and compilation if not mistaken, so it’s definitely nice to know he’s back in the studio working on some new material. “Paralytic” includes a Dubstep original, featuring London’s Hip-Hop trio Vice Versa on vocals as well as a great Electro House remix by Prismatic. Definitely a nice comeback release by Flybug who according to the Jet Set Trash announced release schedule should have another single out before the end of the year, his second during December, so check out “Paralytic” and stay tuned for more by him!

Hell-o and happy mid-week to all bassheads out there and what could actually make the week better than some fresh heavy tunage? So let’s the ball rolling and bass flowing and starting our Wednesday session we have a new single by Egyptian duo Against Humanity. Out on THU Records 10 days ago, Against Humanity‘s new single “Destroy” is a hard hitting heavy Electro track, combinging the distorted electronic sounds we all love with some nice melodies and even more Complextro-ish elements. Definitely a track to check out and a very interesting combination of different styles, “Destroy” is the perfect introduction track for all those who aren’t familiar with Against Humanity yet to get a first taste of the duo’s work and music.
