For those of you who checked out or even better enjoyed Against Humanity‘s “New World Order” EP which was released on THU Records last December, you will be definitely glad to know that the “New World Order” Remixes EP is finally available for streaming, including 5 remixes by Troublegum, Brawler, WiseLabs (ex-FetOo), Synapse (ex-Monkey Freakz) and Arkasia. All pretty much artists that those of you following this space for a longer time should be familiar with and recognise despite the new artist names. A remixes EP which, just like the original release did too, follows a mix of hard/trashy Electro sound with elements of Dubstep/Drumstep. A recipe that has definitely worked out well for the French/Egyptian duo in the past no doubt and definitely seems to be working for this “Remixes” EP too, although while listening throughout the EP as a whole at points we felt like quality and overall release dynamics/flow were sacrificed on the altar of fitting more remixes and artists on the same release. Still a nice EP though with Troublegum, Brawler and Synapse being our favorite remixes. Check it out! Continue reading »

Hell-o and a great start to the new week to all! Starting our blogging session a bit later than usual today since we got slightly sidetrack first by Soundcloud and then by our opening post been taken off Soundcloud in a move that is most likely aiming at boosting Spotify streams since the full release was publicly available for some days now, up until a few hours ago. Anyway, hopefully it will be available on the label/artist Soundcloud again soon enough and we’ll be able to finally share with you but for now lets move on to another new release, coming the Pharaohs of hard Electro, Against Humanity, who had their “New World Order” EP out on THU Records a few days ago. Three originals that move between the trashy Electro we’re used to hearing by the duo mixed with more Dubstep-y sound design, parts and elements, something Against Humanity have done before in their previous production as well anyway. “Intoxicated” has to be the track we would pick as our favorite (if we had to) out of what is overall a pretty nice release, especially if you like your Electro hard and loud. Against Humanity – Destroy

Hell-o and happy mid-week to all bassheads out there and what could actually make the week better than some fresh heavy tunage? So let’s the ball rolling and bass flowing and starting our Wednesday session we have a new single by Egyptian duo Against Humanity. Out on THU Records 10 days ago, Against Humanity‘s new single “Destroy” is a hard hitting heavy Electro track, combinging the distorted electronic sounds we all love with some nice melodies and even more Complextro-ish elements. Definitely a track to check out and a very interesting combination of different styles, “Destroy” is the perfect introduction track for all those who aren’t familiar with Against Humanity yet to get a first taste of the duo’s work and music.
