Hell-o all and here we are ready to welcome the weekend that’s just around the corner, so let’s get big today and set the mood right right from the start, with Beef Theatre’s new EP “Like This”, out on Jet Set Trash a few days ago. 3 new original tracks from the German duo, one of them available as a free download too, who deliver some very high quality Electro House with their new EP. A bit too “housy” and more commercial at points, especially comparing to some of the duo’s past work but having said that “Like This” EP is also some of Beef Theatre‘s best work to date. Highlight of the EP, the main and opening track “Like This”, which is definitely some top class Electro House. Not only it takes the duo’s production standards to the next level but also keeps a perfect balance between bouncy, club friendly Electro House with an Acid touch and the harder side of Beef Theatre. A floorfiller by all means and a track/release you should totally check out, whether you like your Electro hard or not.

Another new  release we were really looking forward to since it was announced about a month ago was Beef Theatre‘s comeback single “Lazertag”, released just yesterday on Jet Set Trash. It’s been a while since the duo had an official release out so the news of them joining JST Records and working on on a new single were definitely well received on this blog, as well as many of their fans and hard Electro fans out there in general. Besides, the duo has a long story and very rich in hard Electro background and this move to the London based kabel seemed like a fitting move. Staying true to their roots, Beef Theatre stayed on the Electro side of things and made sure that besides lazers, their new single “Lazertag” has some nice energy and bass too. “Lazertag” also features a couple of remixes though, with Troublegum going for a nice Drum & Bass/Drumstep remix and M.A.D.E.S doing what he does best, great atmospheric orchestral Electro House/Complextro with plenty of energy to power up a city block (at least). Definitely a very nice release that puts back on the map for good these hard Electro veterans who go by the name Beef Theatre so you should definitely check this one out!

If you are a fan of heavy trashy bass and raw electro then you are the right place the right time as this selection of tracks taken from the Maehtrasher 050 “Wurst Case Scenario” Compilation released on Mähtrasher Records will fill your ears with the nasty sounds you love and will leave you with a very plesant eardrum buzz. For those who missed it, the release features altogether 56 tracks, 18 exclusives and 38 tracks that serve as the best of Mähtrasher Records. Of course, not all tracks are in the trashy heavy electro style since there is quite a bit of techno on the release but we have picked 3 of our favorite electro weapons of bass destruction, so say hell-o to aUtOdiDakT, Beef Theatre and Dj Antention and play them loud!

Going on with another name that has been a Metalectro regular since the early days and a duo that has been loyal to their creative vision since the very begining as these guys never strayed from the electro house with a touch of banging trashy feel and sound path, whether to join the techno rebellion or the dub/drumstep frenzy. Beef Theatre has been one of those names that has kept their promise of staying on the supercharged electro style (a promise i personally remember them making about a year ago) and for that they definitely get some extra points in my book. Not that they really need the extra points as their tracks are usually blogworthy anyway, as is their new free EP “Horsepower” too. 3 new originals in the classic Beef Theatre style, maybe not so much on the banging side but more on the housy and clean one but still a pretty nice freebie for all Beef Theatre fans! Check it and grab it!

Hell-o all and i hope you’re having a great day and week too! We didn’t manage to keep your ears bleeding throughout the week, we had our reasons though but we’re back today and ready to get our Metalectro party on with just a few hours left until the weekend! Friday is a bit of a special day as well since everyone is raring to go and i have just the perfect opening post for the occassion! Beef Theatre‘s new EP “Beef Is Back” is out on Techno Changed My Life and as i’ve previously written this is a release that was highly anitcipated on this blog and the Beef boys didn’t disappoint! 4 originals on it, all sounding pretty good too but if you expect a raging bull ready to destroy everything on its way you might have to wait a bit longer. Still an EP worth checking out by all means though, so do that!
