Hell-o and a happy bloody Friday the 13th to all! As some of you or at least those who follow us on Facebook might already know, we had a Free Metalectro exclusive EP by Lux Cathedra planned for today and if anything we like to keep our promises so here it is! Lux Cathedra is a French artist who likes experimenting with the hard, heavy, dark trashy Electro sounds and electric guitars, all elements and sounds we too love here on Metalectro. So when he sent us his new tracks we were very happy and excited to take them on and offer them to you for free, because we simply think they should be heard by all those who still enjoy the underground and trashy Electro sound. So if the dark, heavy Electro alchemies Lux Cathedra has been cooking up sound like something that might migth be down your alley, then make sure to check out these 4 new original tracks, download them and spread “Trismegiste” EP! Going with a pretty brutal Dubstep track next and it’s fair to say that Sullivan King‘s suits the Metalstep and Metalectro description, standards and tastes by all means. Out last month on Rottun Recordings, “Terminus” has all those ingredients that make a proper banger and you know that when we say “banger” we really mean it and it’s not just a word used to describe tracks that are non-heavyweights. Dark, aggressive, guitar and screamo vocals reinforced and in one word brutal, Sullivan King delivers hell and mayhem for a bit more than 4 minutes in “Terminus”, the way only a few artists can and is definitely entering the Metalectro pantheon alongside names such as Zardonic, Gor FLsh, Laforcah, Drivepilot (to mention a few) and many other beloved artists that are too many to mention here. Definitely a hard hitter and a must check out track, whether you like Dubstep, Metal, Electro or any hard and aggressive music style and genre really so hit play and blast this one as loud as you can!

Last post for today and because this is Metalectro and we love our distorted guitars, growls and any kind of combination and mix of bass music and Metal/Punk elements, as long as it’s done right and nicely of course, here’s something to feed our Metal egos and Metalectro hungry souls and demanding eardrums. Fresh blood too since it’s only the first time Ryle is being featured here with his remix of Combichrist’s “From My Cold Dead Hands”. Needless to say this is our definite “remix of the day” pick as well and rightfully so too. The remix is available to purchase as it’s been officially released on Metropolis Records, so hit play below, check it out and you know what to do if you like it as much as we did. Play it loud!

How about some mid-week bangers? Well, we like our bangers all days and hours really so that was a rhetorical question and today we have a couple ones you shouldn’t miss no matter what. For starters, how about a new original by by our favorite robo-metal-monster that goes by the name Zardonic? Veneuela’s finest and heaviest has a new EP coming out on December 9 and the self-titled track from “For Justice” EP was just made available publicly today, meaning we had to pick our keyboards up and make sure to deliver you some guitar fueled electronic madness by one of Metalectro’s finest. The metal influences are  obviously there as is often the case with Zardonic but this time he left his Drum N Bass roots behind as the track moves in a more Electro direction and tempo. Venezuelan guitar virtuoso Tadeo Díaz has also contributed in “For Justice” by adding some lead guitar and it’s safe to say that judging by the first taste we had from the upcoming EP then Zardonic‘s “For Justice” EP is definitely a release to look forward to. Check out the track, pre-order the EP here if you like and stay tuned for more Zardonic soon!
