March has been one of those months that have been very kind to us with too many great tracks and releases coming by a great deal of artists/labels and since posting them all one by one would seem almost impossible we have decided to pick some of our favorite bass monsters released during the month in a 5 track selection that will melt your face with the massive drops and huge badass sound it includes. So fasten your seatbelts and lets get nasty, starting with Downlink & Twofold‘s collaboration original titled “Darkside”, out on Uplink Audio a couple of weeks ago. Some machine gun bass and filthy Dubstep to open the day with and if this one doesn’t melt your face it will certainly give you bloody eardrums and soften you up for our next track pick so check it out and keep reading/listening. Hell-o all and a great week to all! Monday is upon again and so we are back in bass duty so get your seatbelts fastened and get ready for take off as we have plenty of awesomeness coming once again today, with a few new basstastic sounds and releases. As for our opening post for today we have a new release that undoubtedly was highly anticipated from hard electro fans and electro punks out there, as is usually the case with any new Cyberpunkers release. The “Shock” Remixes EP that was announced a while ago was finally released on Freakz Me Out with an impressive number and line up of remixes. 8 in total by some more well known artists and some lesser known ones. Skylab, Bad Catholics, PRO7 & Phil SK, Alvino, Hypomaniacs, Belzebass, Haezer and N4C are the 8 remixers who in addition to a couple of video edits of “Shock” and “Blow” complete the line up of this remixes EP. The variety isn’t missing from the release as the range of styles goes from Electro Punk to Dubstep and even Big Room even though none of the remixes convinced us, especially considering the names involved and expectations one would have from a Cyberpunkers remixes EP. PRO7 & Phil SK, Hypomaniacs and Belzebass are the 3 remixers who struggle to save a very promising and anticipated release which has totally failed to deliver the energy, quality or results and ovreall feels a bit overloaded with unneccessary remixes that aren’t to the standard one would expect. Still, don’t let our disappointment and not met high expectations put you off by any means and check the tracks out for yourselves.
