Staying on the heavy side with another Dubstep new release by one more artist who’s never been featured here before, so more fresh blood coming too because why not? So say hell-o to iso:R from Japan and his katana wielding Dubstep samurai that goes by the name “Kimura”. Out on Uplink Audio just a couple of days ago, “Kimura” EP is slashing its way through most other Dubstep releases we’ve heard lately and doesn’t go “hybrid”, trap or soft at any point. It’s all out war heavy Dubstep, with the Japanese artist also going in Metalectro mode by plugging in some guitars too for the EP closer “The Horror Show”. Definitely an EP we enjoyed a lot and we’re pretty sure you will too so turn the volume up, check “Kimura” out and get it here. Continue reading »

Next up comes a name that we’ve always loved on this blog since the very early days due to their dark, heavy, no holds barred Dubstep and even Metalstep. And even though the Atlanta based duo Mantis hasn’t been featured here as often as they once were, we’re definitely happy to hear some new music coming by them with their brand new single “Slangin’ / Warmonger” (feat. Armanni Reign) which was released a few days ago on Uplink Audio. Two new originals and if you expect some Trap or cheesy EDM here you better keep moving on folks because Mantis are going full power and heavy, just the way we like it and would expect by the duo. Here’s “Slangin’ / Warmonger”, so you better check it out for some nice Dubstep. Continue reading »

For all Dubstep fans and heavy bass enthusiasts today (or actually yesterday to be more precise) turned out a great day in terms of new releases and one that we quite enjoyed is Dubscribe‘s new EP “Hyper Galaxy”, as is usually the case with the Japanese artist’s releases anyway. Out on Uplink Audio, the EP comes with 4 originals which follow in the footsteps of Dubscribe‘s past work, meaning heavy bass, aggressive riffs, lots of energy and great production. If you’ve enjoyed Dubscribe‘s previous releases then there’s absolutely no reason whatsoever not to enjoy this one too so make sure to check it out if you’re after some new loud Dubstep sounds. Sticking to some more super energised and badass Drum N Bass sounds, this time coming from Russia based artist Davip who has never been featured here before (so lets give him a warm or even hot as hell welcome) and Uplink Audio. “Eliminator” EP was out a week ago including four original tracks, with the opening and EP same titled track being a collaboration with label boss Downlink and setting the tone for what’s to follow in the three remaining EP tracks perfectly well with its fat moving bassline and overall great feel and production. Definitely an EP to check out if you’re into this sort of sound and one we enjoyed quite a bit here on Metalectro so if you trust our eardrums do check it out by all means. Continue reading »

March has been one of those months that have been very kind to us with too many great tracks and releases coming by a great deal of artists/labels and since posting them all one by one would seem almost impossible we have decided to pick some of our favorite bass monsters released during the month in a 5 track selection that will melt your face with the massive drops and huge badass sound it includes. So fasten your seatbelts and lets get nasty, starting with Downlink & Twofold‘s collaboration original titled “Darkside”, out on Uplink Audio a couple of weeks ago. Some machine gun bass and filthy Dubstep to open the day with and if this one doesn’t melt your face it will certainly give you bloody eardrums and soften you up for our next track pick so check it out and keep reading/listening.
