Weekend Bass 02Another weekend is almost here and boy are we glad this strange, busy and uneasy (for a number of reasons) week is over? So, even though blogging some music during the week turned out to be harder than we would have liked, it feels quite appropriate to celebrate the arrival of the weekend with some tracks that have been patiently and quietly sitting in our “to blog” list. So here comes another weekend track selection and a 5 track playlist, including 5 badass and full of bass tracks that helped us make it through the week and we know will definitely help set the mood for the weekend too. So, check out these new beasts by The Glitch Mob, Downlink & Axonic (feat. Terravita), KJ Sawka, Modestep & Genetix and Must Die!, play them loud and have a great weekend y’all! Continue reading »

revenge-of-the-5thSo, following all the “May the 4th” jokes that took over social media yesterday it’s our turn to have some fun, dark side style, so here comes our “Revenge Of The Fifth” track selection including 5 tracks that we loved during April and think all heavy bass maniacs among you will love too. 5 original tracks from 5 different artists/releases and a mix of Electro, Dubstep and well, Zardonic who if anything transcends Electronic music boundaries and sub-genres more often than not while staying loyal to the Metalectro sound. As for the other four tracks we have chosen to exact our revenge with, Megalodon, Downlink & Terravita, Belzebass and BAR9 are all names that need no introductions and are more than qualified to ruin your neighbor’s day while making yours.

Sticking to some more super energised and badass Drum N Bass sounds, this time coming from Russia based artist Davip who has never been featured here before (so lets give him a warm or even hot as hell welcome) and Uplink Audio. “Eliminator” EP was out a week ago including four original tracks, with the opening and EP same titled track being a collaboration with label boss Downlink and setting the tone for what’s to follow in the three remaining EP tracks perfectly well with its fat moving bassline and overall great feel and production. Definitely an EP to check out if you’re into this sort of sound and one we enjoyed quite a bit here on Metalectro so if you trust our eardrums do check it out by all means. Continue reading »

March has been one of those months that have been very kind to us with too many great tracks and releases coming by a great deal of artists/labels and since posting them all one by one would seem almost impossible we have decided to pick some of our favorite bass monsters released during the month in a 5 track selection that will melt your face with the massive drops and huge badass sound it includes. So fasten your seatbelts and lets get nasty, starting with Downlink & Twofold‘s collaboration original titled “Darkside”, out on Uplink Audio a couple of weeks ago. Some machine gun bass and filthy Dubstep to open the day with and if this one doesn’t melt your face it will certainly give you bloody eardrums and soften you up for our next track pick so check it out and keep reading/listening.
