Flybug “Paralytic”

Following a less “bassy” opening post it’s time to move on to some more familiar and heavy sounds and here comes Flybug‘s new single “Paralytic”, which was released a few days ago on Jet Set Trash. It’s been a while since we heard some new music coming out from the UK based artist, actually since his track for the last Metalectro contest and compilation if not mistaken, so it’s definitely nice to know he’s back in the studio working on some new material. “Paralytic” includes a Dubstep original, featuring London’s Hip-Hop trio Vice Versa on vocals as well as a great Electro House remix by Prismatic. Definitely a nice comeback release by Flybug who according to the Jet Set Trash announced release schedule should have another single out before the end of the year, his second during December, so check out “Paralytic” and stay tuned for more by him!

Hell-o all and today we’re going to be starting the day with a track from a new release you have probably seen around or heard about somewhere as it’s been a well talked about release, with opinions about it being as diverse and different as the music on the Culprate “Deliverance” album is too. An LP that definitely doesn’t stay constricted within any limits as it transcends all musical boundaries and is freely expressing and conveying different moods, emotions and ideas that show tremendous musical maturity, creativity and flexibility. A perfect mix of electronic and “organic” sound, “Deliverance” is the kind of album that will find both friends and enemies in both these musical worlds. We from our side really enjoyed the album without thinking in terms of styles or genres but for what it really is, good music. So, here is the track “Within” from “Deliverance”, which is our favorite from the release as well and we thought would make a great track to open today’s blogging session with. Not our usual heavy stuff but a great track nevertheless so check it out and go give the rest of the LP a listen too here!

Staying in the dark side of the Electronic music (what a surprise!) and going on with a video by our beloved on Metalectro Frenchmen Christine for the track “Gonna Fear Now” which is available as a free download. And as if a new track by Christine isn’t exciting news already, “Gonna Fear Now” came with a new video too and all those fans of the duo’s aesthetics and style are going to love this one. Horror movie themes with a retro feel, serial killers and gallons of bloody fun, all the ingredients that make a great Christine video are there and the same goes for the track too. Hard Electro with amn 80’s dark synthwave touch and the characteristic Christine sound, “Gonna Fear Now” is razor sharp and dangerously fun to look at and listen too. So here comes the official video for it and if you enjoy this but somehow you aren’t familiar with these Frenchmen you better get your act together and go check out the rest of their music and videos too!

Hell-o all and it’s time our daily dose of dark and heavy Electronic music even if our opening post might not be as heavy and bassy as usually but what it lacks in filth makes up for with great dark synthwave atmosphere and 80’s sound reinforced with some lovely guitars. Yeah it’s Dance With The Dead, a name that has been featured here a few times in the past, with a new track and if you are fans of the style and sound you have to love these guys. Taken from their new “Send The Signal” EP that was out yesterday, “Poison” is our track of choice for today and not because we didn’t like the other tracks of the release but just because we liked this one even more. A great track that we definitely enjoyed a lot so here it is. Make sure to check it out as well as full “Send The Signal” EP as well!

Owl Vision – Damnation

And from the “fresh blood” of the opening post we go to a Metalectro favorite and regular with this brand new track by Owl Vision who’s back and sounding as good as always and maybe even better (if that’s even possible?) Dark, hard and bouncy, “Damnation” is classic Owl Vision Electro and is no doubt the kind of track to send chills down your spine, like we are used to by him anyway. “Damnation” is officially released on December 16th on Kannibalen Records but the track has already been made publicly available and is even given as a free download, for the time being at least, so if you fancy yourselves some great Electro to start this week look no further. Here’s “Damnation” and Owl Vision at his best so waste no time and click on the play button below. No sins will be forgiven but your stay in hell will definitely become much more pleasant with such a soundtrack, so don’t hesitate and join the damned!
