Any day Christine, one of our favorite French electronic music artists, come up with new music is a good day here on Metalectro so as you can imagine we’re quite happy to have started our week with a new EP by the Frenchmen. “Ecstatic Sole” is Christine‘s sixth EP and if you’re not familiar with their music by now, well let’s just say you have some essential listening to do. Coming with four new original tracks, this is some trademark Christine stuff and sounding as good if not even better than ever. A mix of French Touch and 80’s synth/horrorwave, “Ecstatic Sole” EP is overall as hard, dark and groovy as you would expect, hope and want a Christine release to be. What else could we ask for? MineSweepa is back with a new EP on Firepower Records and those of you who like their bass heavy and Dubstep loud should be pretty happy about it, whether fans of the USA artist or someone who’s just getting introduced to MineSweepa‘s music with “Absent” EP. Staying more on the heavy side, MineSweepa is hardly straying at all from the more traditional Dubstep sound by going either “bro” or too “hybrid” on us on the three originals. But for those who do enjoy the more melodic side of things too Shindig‘s remix of “Champagne Skin” should cover your needs as well so no reason to feel left out. A nice EP overall, as is usually the case with most releases wearing the Firepower logo and seal of approval, so do check it out! Continue reading »

A name that hasn’t been mentioned for quite a while here but has always been a favorite among hard Electro fans is that of USA artist Le Castle Vania. And if reading LCV’s name makes you feel nostalgic of the days his name would be featured frequently on Electronic music blogs with new bangers, we’ve got some good news for you as only hours ago a couple of new Le Castle Vania tracks went public on the artist’s Soundcloud. And what’s even better than 2 new LCV originals, that they’re available for free of course! Tight and hard edged Electro as usual, “I Want You” and “What We Do” might not be Le Castle Vania‘s hardest tracks but they certainly won’t disappoint any of his fans either. We from our side are certainly glad to hear some new music by the Atlanta producer anyway and and hope more will follow soon! Continue reading »

Take 2 horned ape heads, add some tentacles and dark techno vibes into the mix, season with raw bass and watch the electronic demonoid that goes by the name “Demogorgon” come to life by Russian artists DenDerty and Dizelkraft. Out on Heptagram just hours ago, this collaboration EP between the 2 artists comes with 3 new originals that those of you fans of the European Techno and Trash Electro scenes and sound (and all their dirty children) should appreciate and most likely enjoy. Full of raw stomping bass “Demogorgon” is available as a free download here but also through the usual digital retailers so feel free to choose your poison and check it out. Continue reading »
