MineSweepa is back with a new EP on Firepower Records and those of you who like their bass heavy and Dubstep loud should be pretty happy about it, whether fans of the USA artist or someone who’s just getting introduced to MineSweepa‘s music with “Absent” EP. Staying more on the heavy side, MineSweepa is hardly straying at all from the more traditional Dubstep sound by going either “bro” or too “hybrid” on us on the three originals. But for those who do enjoy the more melodic side of things too Shindig‘s remix of “Champagne Skin” should cover your needs as well so no reason to feel left out. A nice EP overall, as is usually the case with most releases wearing the Firepower logo and seal of approval, so do check it out! Continue reading »

Hell-o and a great week to all and since last week we didn’t make it to post some new music we will try to make it up to you this week and there is plenty of good bass filled new music to post about too. So let’s get to it and for starters we have Tim Ismag‘s new EP “Supervillains”, out on Firepower about a week ago. 4 new original tracks plus remixes by Eh!de, Spag Heddy and MineSweepa and that’s definitely an impressive line up no doubt. A dark Dubstep dominated release which brings together many different elements and influences ranging from Metal (Supervillains, Scorpion) to classic music and epic orchestral parts to even Middle Eastern folk music melodies (Xerxes) and of course heavy basslines and powerful Dubstep.  As for the remixes, no surprises there with all 3 of Eh!de, Spag Heddy and MineSweepa delivering what you would expect from them, which is nothing less than quality Dubstep. So here is Tim Ismag‘s “Supervillains”, pick your favorite bad boy, crank it up and unleash some destruction upon the world!

Another new release that was out just a couple of days ago is the MineSweepa new EP, titled “Epidemic”. “Epidemic” is the debut release for the USA based Dubstep producer on Firepower Records and definitely the next step towards his development and growth. As for the release itself, expect some good old fashioned Dubstep, in case you had any doubts, so if you like your robo-war-like-sound loud and heavy this one is for you as it definitely sounds as good as it looks. 4 originals on the EP and even if “Epidemic” isn’t a candidate for your favorite release of the year for whatever reason it’s certainly a release all Dubstep maniacs should enjoy so check it out!

Hell-o all and i hope you’re having a great day! Tuesday today and one more blogging session is about to start and since lady Hellectro couldn’t make it today and i know you all miss her basstastic posts, i’ll have to try my best to cover all your bass needs myself. So, let’s get things started with a preview of an upcoming EP release that i quite enjoyed, despite its slower and less banging nature. MineSweepa has never been blogged here before as well so it’s a fresh blood start and a fresh sounding EP as well imo. “Houseparty” EP will be out on Multikill Recordings with 4 originals which move between Electro House, Glitch Hop and Dubstep. Definitely not the heaviest or dirtiest tracks you’ve heard here but all of them well done, big on the bass and definitely loud enough to deserve the post so check out the preview!

Time to wrap things up and close one more Metalectro session as i have already reached my fifth and final post today and yes, yes, i have my pick for the “remix of the day” coming up and it’s a newly released big remix by Tim Ismag, who needs no introductions really. This time he remixed Phrenik & Stiletto “Can’t Wait”, taken from the “The Impact” Remixed EP, which was released on Simplify Recordings a week ago. The EP also features 3 more remixes, by Tut Tut Child and KJ Sawka on “Ready For Impact” (feat. PLS DNT STP) and by MineSweepa on the track “The Frequency”. This Tim Ismag remix defintely stood out from the rest in my ears though and so i decided it deserved the “remix of the day” title, therefore here it is! Check it out (as well as the rest of the EP) and have a great evening!
