New Release: Cosmic Sand “Breaking Point” EP

Hell-o all and apologies for the contstantly decreasing number of blogging days lately. So let’s ease in with a slightly more chilled release today but a great one by Cosmic Sand and Jet Set Trash. As you might already know Cosmic Sand has left the orchestral hard electro sound behind for some months now and has adopted the more atmospheric, 80’s electro sound. It’s fair to say though that this has been the next stage of the Portuguese producer’s musical evolution as the rich synth sound, great leads and melodies, as well as the atmposhere he creates really put him up there with the best of the kind. As for his 4th EP “Breaking Point”, featuring 2 originals and 2 remixes by Wolf Saga and Mega Drive, it’s a musical journey and experience you shouldn’t miss by any means!

Time to wrap things up and finish another Metalectro session and let’s close with a bang and one of my favorite tracks of the year so far and an undisputed “remix of the day” too. Having said that it was pretty hard to pick just 1 remix out of Tim Tonik‘s debut EP “Still No Commercial Music”, out last month on Jet Set Trash, as my favorite as all the remixes by Beatbender, Hypomaniacs, Dave Scorp and ofcourse this huge collaboration between Skitsnygg & Monolith that were featured on the EP were equally great. Still, i had to pick one and this was my choice, based also on my love for the original track as well. In any case an absolutely great banger by the 2 producers and i personally hope many more collaborations between these 2 will follow! That’s all, play it loud and have a great evening!

Hell-o all and i hope you had a great weekend! Hanna couldn’t make it today so i’ll be covering for her. To be honest it’s a nice day to blog too since we had a few nice releases and previews out since the last time i blogged so i’m quite glad to post them. For starters, we have a new release by Gor FLsh and Jet Set Trash, which i’ve got to say is one of the biggest and definitely the most aggressive & brutal release i’ve heard so far this year! The Gor FLsh LP features 7 original tracks, all bangers and 1 of them being a really huge collab with Hypomaniacs, 2 remixes by Cosmic Sand and Rocket, each adding his personal touch to the track, plus a metal rework by the master of the kind SAWAGii! A release that’s no doubt going to keep you headbanging throughout!
