Straight out of the oven and right into your speakers, here comes Spor (Feed Me’s Drum N Bass alter ego) with some fresh tunage, out on his own imprint Sotto Voce Records last Friday. And what better to start your Monday and new week than some much needed energy boost to get you going after the weekend? Available through Bittorent (as well as on pretty much every other platform) “Black Eyed” comes with 5 original tracks, a couple of them being collaborations – one with Icicle & Linguistics and one featuring Phace. For those of you familiar with Spor‘s previous work you should already have a pretty good idea what to expect from his new EP, which is nothing else than some deep (and occassionaly dark) Drum N Bass/Neuro. Here comes a preview of the new Dub Elements LP “Experiments”, out today on Mass Bass. An album that includes twelve original tracks by the Spanish duo moving between Electro House, Dubstep, Trap, Breaks, Drum N Bass and pretty much covering all spectrums and subgenres of “EDM”. Some heavier and harder than others, some more main stage and Beaport chart targetted, all tracks sound good and tight from the production side although being perfectly honest we would prefer to hear more of the harder and heavier sound (e.g. “Bullshit”, “Yesterday And Always”, “Sulphur”) and less of the mainstream one. Still, for those who are more into the whole EDM and big festival sound than we are (and we are not that big on that sound to be honest) “Experiments” LP should be a release they will enjoy so check it out. Contiuing today’s bass assualt with some damn great sounding Drum N Bass and a preview of The Clamps‘ ucpoming “Dvouglas” EP, which is set for release on February 23rd via Citrus Recordings and boy does it sound like a release to look forward to!? Two Drum N Bass huge originals that will suck you in right from the start with the atmosphere the chant like vocals of the opening and EP same-titled create track to only spit you back out when the bass kicks in so you can keep moving non-stop until the very last second of the EP (or at least of this preview). Great energy, rhythm and power overall and if you enjoy good Drum N Bass then this is one you’re going to love. We did and hopefully we’re going to love it even more on February 23 when it’s officially released and get to listen to the full tracks. Until then… Continue reading »

Hell-o and a great week to all! Monday again and this means we’re back in business (or actually “bassines” if you prefer) and as proven multiple times before already there is no better remedy for the weekend hangovers than some fresh bass and we have quite a bit of it coming today so fasten your seatbelts and get ready for take off! And to get things rolling we have some “fresh blood” coming with the signature of Uplink Audio and the new River Accorsi EP, titled “Metanoia”. A deep and dark Dubstep release with a character of its own and it’s fair to say this isn’t your regular Dubstep/Drum N Bass EP. Bassy and atmospheric, River Accorsi‘s “Metanoia” EP takes the best elements of many different bass music forms and styles and blends them together in great ways, making his new EP a journey that needs to be experienced from start to end. Prismatic has also contributed a remix to the release and it’s a great one too, adding some extra bassy flavor to what was a very nice release already. So here’s “Metanoia” and you better check it out!

And since we started the day with some powerfull and pretty heavy tunes let’s keep the power flowing but pick up the tempo a bit with a new collaboration track by Black Sun Empire & State Of Mind and normally having these two names in the same sentence, let alone track title, should be more than enough to know what’s coming. Drum N Bass of the highest and filthiest caliber and “Ego” is no exception. Released on Blackout Music just yesterday “Ego” is a 6 minute long non-stop moving experience like one would expect by the two artists and one more Drum N Bass gem to be added both to the artists’ and Blackout Music‘s catalogue and definitely a track all those who enjoy hard and super energised Electronic music should check out. So here it is, crank it up, hit play and let the whole neighbourhood feel the boost, bass and power!
