Weekend is coming and once again we thought we’d come up with a track selection for you to get the party started. From Indie Dance to Electronica and Electro to Drum & Bass here’s what’s on our playlist heading into the weekend and we certainly hope you enjoy the tracks too. Please note that some of the tracks are only available as previews on Soundcloud and one of them is actually only available on Spotify for the time being, so we recommend checking out the full playlist on Spotify rather on Soundcloud. Pick your poison and have a great weekend y’all!

Straight out of the oven and right into your speakers, here comes Spor (Feed Me’s Drum N Bass alter ego) with some fresh tunage, out on his own imprint Sotto Voce Records last Friday. And what better to start your Monday and new week than some much needed energy boost to get you going after the weekend? Available through Bittorent (as well as on pretty much every other platform) “Black Eyed” comes with 5 original tracks, a couple of them being collaborations – one with Icicle & Linguistics and one featuring Phace. For those of you familiar with Spor‘s previous work you should already have a pretty good idea what to expect from his new EP, which is nothing else than some deep (and occassionaly dark) Drum N Bass/Neuro. Definitely an album Continue reading »

the-prodigy-2015Wrapping things up with something you have seen and heard about already most likely, since it’s no big secret The Prodigy are back with a new album (out March 30), which to be fair we certainly hope it meets our expectations and lives up to its promotion campaign. Either way, the first signs and sounds we’ve heard from “The Day Is My Enemy” and of course the video of “Nasty” are definitely encouraging to say the least. Good old heavy and wild Electronic music with its fair share of rock’n’roll attitude and if that doesn’t sound like something you dig then you’re probably reading the wrong blog. As for “Nasty”, both the original mix and Spor remix (aka Feed Me) are already doing a great work whetting our appetite. As for the video of “Nasty”, let’s just say it takes things from “whetting our appetite” to making us rabid with it’s nice dark and very stylish animation. Check it out and of course mark the 30th of March on your calendars!
