Hell-o all and as you might have noticed it’s been getting harder and harder to keep the good music flowing endlessly through the blog lately, due to multiple reasons really but mostly due to time limitations. Well, to be honest the good music that we really feel deserves to be heard is also getting less and less and harder to come by which definitely doesn’t help but we won’t get into that for now and try to stay focused on those few good releases and track that have been echoing througout the Metalectroland lately. And one of those releases comes by Finnish duo I Think I Broke Something who recently had their debut single “Superman Sabotage Clan” release on Jet Set Trash. Fresh, unique, unbelievably talented and super-stylish, I Think I Broke Something mix together influences that vary from music genres and sounds as diverse as Indie, Pop, Punk Rock, Electroclash and Electro Trash. All that with some crazy vocally dominated Breaks to top it all of. With them, Hanuman Tribe, CrazyMT and Dizkodeath who delivered 3 killer remixes. A hybrid Dubstep-Indie remix by Hanuman Tribe, a pure old school Electroclash remix by CrazyMT and some raw Electro Punk from the master of the kind Dizkodeath make I Think I Broke Something‘s debut single an impressive release no doubt so check out the preview below by all means and keep an eye/ear on these guys for more!

Another great Electro that hit the stores last week comes by a German artist who goes by the name Dizkodeath. Of course, those who have been checking and following this space are probably aware of the name and the music that follows since Dizkodeath is far from a stranger on this blog. His 4th single release, titled “Orchid” was out last Monday on JST Records and if you have checked the previous 3 singles from Dizkodeath‘s upcoming album “Raw” then you have to agree on 2 things. First that this is an excellent follow up single (something in which both the origina and the great remixes by Gost, Christine and Perturbator have contributed towards) and second that Dizkodeath‘s album “Raw” is going to be one of the biggest albums released in 2014 for all fans of the hard, dark and in this specific case pretty damn groovy Electro. Last new release of the day and time to get back to some regular and very loved artists on Metalectro with this one. Dizkodeath is back with the 3rd single of his upcoming LP “Raw” and once again the Germany based artist delivers some seriously impressive and good tunage. “Vendetta” is the title of his new single that was released on Jet Set Trash yesterday and this one is for all those nostalgic of the good old hard Electro days. A great mix of 80’s elements, atmospheric and ravey hard Electro and heavily distorted French Electro, Dizkodeath delivers another quality single. 3 remixes alongside the original by M.A.D.E.S, Krftkds and Freak Slaughter and it’s only fair to say that all 3 remixers have done some impressive work. Overall another great single by Dizkodeath and with the previous 2 singles being also as good as they were, his LP “Raw” is becoming one highly anticipated release no doubt. Check out “Vendetta” by all means!

Here comes the “remix of the day” and one that had snatched the title for a while now. Greatness is the 1st word that comes to mind when pressing play on this remix Q.G. did on Dizkodeath‘s “Wizard” and i press the play button way too often on it. The powerful trashy Q.G. bass matched perfectly Dizkodeath‘s groovy disco feel, delivering a combination of styles and a remix that stands out and shines. Q.G. couldn’t have done a better job finding the perfect balance of elements from the original to keep and trademark Q.G. ones to add. The decisions turned out great and the result magic as the Frenchman managed to add his personal touch and feel while maintaining that of the original too. Credit should definitely go to Dizkodeath as well though for the original and great base material given to the remixers to work with. None of this maters as much as the final result though, which is an amazing remix and EP, so check them both out!

Going on with my personal highlight of recent releases and the latest EP by Dizkodeath named “Wizard“, out since Monday on Jet Set Trash! Compared to the 1st tracks by the young German i blogged here not that long ago it´s really damn remarkable through what a huge development he went sound-wise, without losing touch to the roots anytime but sticking to the good stuff and delivering each track (almost) better than the last, also this release. An outstanding EP imo and the original as well as the remixes by Q.G. and Soul Machine turned out extremely mind-blowing, so get into the groove right now and be taken away by its lovely melodies and amazing flow – crank it up, hit play and check all tracks out!!!
