Hell-o all and here comes your daily dose of bass and with this being the only post for today due to time restraints we better make it a good one and the “We Are Not P(o)P” Pt.03 and Pt.04 double compilation by Jet Set Trash is perfect to do just that. With 27 originals and remixes released on the label last year and a variety of styles that range from Electro House and more commercial Dubstep by artists such as Virtual Riot, Heavygrinder and Oxylice, to nasty trashy bass by the likes of Skitsnygg, Laforcah, Tim Tonik, Gor FLsh and of course some guitar fueled Metalectro favorites by Zardonic, Imagin8, Rubber Spanner and Drop Goblin that come as no surprise being on a Jet Set Trash release, this is a guaranteed energy boost to get you through the rest of the week.

Last post and lets close big by both Metalectro standards and generally speaking good hard electro standards that is. Usual business as i have saved my “remix of the day” for last and this time i have actually made it a double one too and another “vs” post. Today’s contestants, Heavygrinder and Laforcah who both remixed Rubber Spanner‘s “Drop Like Flies” in the same titled EP that was released on Jet Set Trash last month. The result 2 quite different sounding remixes which focused on the very characteristic guitars and punk vocals of the original and were equally great, each for its own reason. Heavygrinder took her remix to a more guitar fueled Electro House direction and really came up with a top remix and one of her best remixes up to date imo, while the Italian duo Laforcah went for a raw thrash bass punk ‘n’ roll style electro remix and took things to their usual hardcore direction. Both great remixes that are definitely worth checking out by all means if you haven’t yet, as is the original too and Rubber Spanner‘s “Drop Like Flies” EP in general. So, press play, enjoy the tracks, let us know which one is your favorite and why and have a great banging evening!

Second post of the day and despite having to change my post right at the last minute due to the tracks of the new release i had planned to post magically disappearing (shame on those responsible), i have a replacement ready that maybe isn’t from a “big” name but certainly is of equal quality as Rubber Spanner‘s 3rd EP “Drop Like Flies” dropped a couple of days ago on Jet Set Trash and made some serious noise as well! Featuring 5 originals that range from Punkstep to melodic Electro House and Metalectro to Techno, the London (UK) based producer really stepped up with this new EP and took things to the next level. The self titled “Drop Like Flies” might as well be the Electro-Step cousin of bands like Agnostic Front or Dropkick Murphys and is a track full of style and attitude but so are the rest of the tracks on the EP. Clever lyrics, guitars, melodies that will stick with you and groove define the 5 originals and as if that’s not enough to make a killer EP, Heavygrinder, Laforcah, Gor FLsh and Soul Machine remixed the tracks and delivered some of their best work up to date too. Nothing else to add, if you aren’t yet convinced there is nothing i can say to change that, so here’s the preview and you better check it out!

Keeping things bagning for the now and following in the same spirit of the previous posts and here’s another preview of one more pretty nice sounding upcoming EP. Rubber Spanner is back with his 3rd EP on Jet Set Trash and this time the London (UK) based artist and Jet Set Trash label boss decided to mix things up by delivering some of those catchy and melodic electro house tracks he showcased in his last EP “Shit Happens” while at the same time returning to his metal and punk roots and picking up his guitar for the tracks “Drop LIke Flies” (the EP title track) and “Overdrive” (Trashed Again) which is an obvious title and musical reference to his “Get Trashed” track released a couple of years ago. Both great sounding vocal driven, guitar fueled tracks and something you might even describe as punkstep in the case of “Drop Like Flies”. Some pretty nice remixes too on the EP with Heavygrinder, Laforcah and Gor FLsh delivering some first class bangers as well as Soul Machine who contributed a techno-electro-rock rework of the track “Satanic Synths From Outer Space”, a groovy techno orginal and closing track of the EP. Overall geat variety and number of tracks (9 in total) and a release that is banging, melodic and fresh! Check out the teaser and stay tuned for the EP, out tomorrow!

From one quality new release to the next and here’s a brand new and damn awesome single by one of Metalectro’s favorite producers, Dizkodeath. The Germany based artist had his debut release out yesterday on Jet Set Trash and as we wrote a few days  ago when we posted a minimix of this release it’s a really great one. Hard electro at its best, powerful, dirty, loud, groovy and very well poduced. A great first impression and taste of what’s to follow by Dizkodeath, as this is the first of a number of singles taken from his upcoming album “Raw”, which will be out sometime in Autumn. Certainly an album to look forward to as this single suggests and therefore big congratulations are due i believe to Dizkodeath who has been working on his album for about 1 year before finalising it with the help of Rubber Spanner, who got onboard and helped Dizkodeath with additional production, mixing and mastering. Great work overall by everyone invloved in this relase and a must check out by all means, so hit play below!
