Another young artist who has been impressive so far with anything he has produced and especially his Dubstep tracks, is Boston (USA) based Imagin8 who last month had his new single “Midnight” released on Jet Set Trash. After a single on Most Addictive MusicImagin8 is back on the London bass heavyweight label with 2 new originals, one being a massive Dubstep and one a melodic and very catchy vocal Drumstep track. And if you enjoyed Imagin8‘s previous works and more specifically his dark and heavy Dubstep tracks (Pure Justice, Restless Slumber remix or Battle On The Hill) then you’re in for a special treat with “Midnight Shenanigans”, the opening track from “Midnight”, which is definitely both Imagin8‘s best original up to date and one of our favorite recent Dubstep tracks. Huge sound design and massive “growls”, dark atmosphere and big bad drops is what you can expect in this one, followed by some catchy and more EDM-esque vocal Drumstep in “When You Come Home”, which serves as the release’s b-side track. Two very good tracks with high production standards that you should check out by all means so hit play in the player below and enjoy.

Hell-o all and after an extended silence from our side here’s a pretty quick and evil comeback and a multi-purpose post in a sense since we have a killer new track and release and an official video for it, all in one. Hijack Da Bass shouldn’t really need any inrtoduction to those of you following the blog and hard Electro scene in general. With 3 official EPs under their belt and countless remixes for Zardonic, Lock N Bounce, Laforcah and Vegamoore (just to mention a few) the duo from Portugal has been delivering their highly energised Electro for a while and now they are back with a new EP. Out on JST Records last week, their EP titels “Demon Club” comes with 2 originals as well as 3 remixes by Imagin8, The Silent H and Bombastard who all added their personal touch to the 2 originals. As for the originals, Hijack Da Bass are taking their sound to the next level while at the same time keeping their very characteristic trademark sound. And in cas that’s not enough “Demon Club” comes with an official video too. Dark, demonic (obviously) and cool, the video was done to pay homage to horror themes the duo has always enjoyed and as an effort to explore the psychology of horror. So, enough words, time to let the audio and visual work of Hijack Da Bass speak for itself so check out the video below and of course “Demon Club” EP here.

artworks-000077565718-1d1n24-cropHell-o all and here we are with some more fresh bass for you ears and you can rest assured that we have plenty of it coming on today right from the start as we will be kicking the day off with a new single by the super talented Boston (USA) based Imagin8. The new single by the 18 yo and very pomising Imagin8 was out about 1 month ago on Most Addictive Records that obviously got addicted to Imagin8‘s big bass and sound desing, as we did too since we discovered him. The new single is titled “Battle On The Hill” and Imagin8 delivers once again what we all got to love from him on his debut EP “Pure Justice”, which is no other than fat bass, dark atmospheric parts, top production and maturity way beyond his age. Check out “Battle On The Hill” and Imagin8 in general if you haven’t yet because if there is one thing you can be certain of is that more greatness is going to follow him.

Hell-o all and here comes your daily dose of bass and with this being the only post for today due to time restraints we better make it a good one and the “We Are Not P(o)P” Pt.03 and Pt.04 double compilation by Jet Set Trash is perfect to do just that. With 27 originals and remixes released on the label last year and a variety of styles that range from Electro House and more commercial Dubstep by artists such as Virtual Riot, Heavygrinder and Oxylice, to nasty trashy bass by the likes of Skitsnygg, Laforcah, Tim Tonik, Gor FLsh and of course some guitar fueled Metalectro favorites by Zardonic, Imagin8, Rubber Spanner and Drop Goblin that come as no surprise being on a Jet Set Trash release, this is a guaranteed energy boost to get you through the rest of the week.

Time to wrap things up and i will be cutting things short by one post today but for what it’s worth i will be closing with a bang and both a great track and video. Le Catcheur, La Pute & Le Dealer (ft. Mr Elegantz) “Smell My Fingers” was out on Jet Set Trash a couple of weeks ago and in addition to being a great EP release, featuring 1 original plus remixes by Sawgood, RIOT 87 and Imagin8, this really nice and fresh looking video for the original track certainly added plenty of extra value. Great performace and choreography by dancer Sindia Finalice, great concept that follows Le Catcheur, La Pute & Le Dealer‘s colourful aesthetics and style, as well as humorous approach combined with super energised electro-rock-step. Great work by all means and a video that is as well produced as the tracks on “Smell My Fingers” EP, so what better way to end today’s blogging session than this? Enjoy and have a great evening!
