Staying on the dark side of electronic music with a brand new release and the return of the Portuguese duo Beatbender in the epicentre of the heavy bass Electro scene. It has been quite a while, more than a year if not mistaken, since Beatbender‘s last release but they are back better than ever since yesterday on JST Records with “Anti Optimism”, the first single from their upcoming LP “Elevate”. 1 original accompanied by 3 remixes, all of them by artists who release their music on the UK bas(s)ed label. Laforcah who should be more than known among the Electro Punk and trash-heads among you, the Russian devastator duo The Unique Yagark plus the newcomers and impressive I Think I Broke Something who are from the very early stages of their carreer setting very high standards and their vocal remix of “Anti Optimism” is no exception. Fresh, deep, dark and heavy are some of the keywords that come to mind when listening to Beatbender‘s “Anti Optimism” and it’s safe to say that the duo seems to be back for good and stronger than ever. Check out the preview and stay tuned for more by these guys!

Fresh blood coming up next and when it comes to insane talent and unique fresh sound then the duo from Finland that goes by the name I Think I Broke Something is no doubt the cream of the crop. Electro, Breaks, Punk, Indie and Pop is all perfectly mixed in the 3 originals included in “RRRRR” EP, available for free through Jet Set Trash and I Think I Broke Something are certainly making their debut with a bang. Vocally dominated, hard, with loads of character and personal style, “RRRRR” EP is definitely surprisingly mature for the duo’s first release. We will be definitely be waiting and looking forward to hearing more by these guys who are leaving us with a very nice taste and buzz in our mouth and ears for now and according to their Facebook page  it won’t be long before I Think I Broke Something come back with more crazy music! Until then check, grab and enjoy this one!

Another great Electro that hit the stores last week comes by a German artist who goes by the name Dizkodeath. Of course, those who have been checking and following this space are probably aware of the name and the music that follows since Dizkodeath is far from a stranger on this blog. His 4th single release, titled “Orchid” was out last Monday on JST Records and if you have checked the previous 3 singles from Dizkodeath‘s upcoming album “Raw” then you have to agree on 2 things. First that this is an excellent follow up single (something in which both the origina and the great remixes by Gost, Christine and Perturbator have contributed towards) and second that Dizkodeath‘s album “Raw” is going to be one of the biggest albums released in 2014 for all fans of the hard, dark and in this specific case pretty damn groovy Electro. So, check out “Orchid” and stay tuned for more Dizkodeath!

Continuing the bass assault with one more new release and it’s Laforcah‘s new EP “Scars” which needless to say is one of the heaviest Electro releases we have heard in a while. The Italian duo has already built quite a reputation for their “in your face” Electro Punk sound, style and attitude and “Scars” EP come to add to that reputation. Released on JST Records (Jet Set Trash) “Scars” EP includes 2 originals full of fat distorted basslines and dark themes, a collaboration with Giulio The Bastard (singer of Grind Core band Cripple Bastards) plus remixes by 2 of the underground trash Electro scene’ s finest, with Your Ol’ Lady and Hantise adding their own heavy touch to Laforcah‘s monsterpieces. And if all that isn’t enough to convince those heavy, non-commercial Electro fans among you to check Laforcah‘s 4th EP out then we have nothing else to say that might convince you. So better just hit play and get a taste for yourselves by the preview below.
