Okay, this day turned out to be not really that damn hard music-wise i have to admit, but i´ll make up for it with my pick for the “remix of the day” and will finally put the pedal to the metal again with this last post! Been taken from the “Restless Remixes” EP by Zardonic out on Jet Set Trash, this remix by Lock N Bounce made it to be my favourite of this release! Of course i liked the other remixes by Gör Flsh, Hijack Da Bass, Tomorrow We Fall and Imagin8 that are featured on this EP also a lot, so it was a hard task and tight decision to pick today´s ROTD out of this one, but in the end this kick-ass approach combined with the lovely badass chopped vocals is the one that touches my metalectric heart the most, so big ups to Lock N Bounce on my behalf! This is it, play it loud and have a banging evening!!!

Staying trashy, raw and powerful and in fact as brutal as electro can get with a freebie by monsieur brutal, our favorite Canadian metalhead and Metalectro artist who is no other than the one and only Gor FLsh! Gor FLsh who after the initial scares and worries his announcement about stopping producing as Gor FLsh caused it seems that is back  in action and since his return he seems to be unstoppable, coming up with banger after banger and having released a couple official remixes and a few free ones all that while he’s finalising a new EP to be out on Jet Set Trash soon. So expect some brutal times ahead and here’s his free remix on Moondroid‘s “Megalon”, taken from the “Megalon” Free EP. Check an dgrab both this remix and EP and stay tuned for more Gor FLsh!

Hell-o everybody! I returned from infirmary, still ill but got  a bit restless there, so i´ll give expelling those sickness demons another try hereby and what could be better for that than the brand new “Restless Remixes” EP by Zardonic, out since yesterday on Jet Set Trash? You´re right – absolutely nothing, so brace yourselves for some infernally guitar fueled, basstastic and eargrinding noises! Besides a new version of “Restless Slumber” by Zardonic himself there are remixes by Hijack Da Bass, Imagin8, Lock N Bounce, Gör Flsh and the winning remix of the “Restless Slumber Remix Contest” (held by us in collaboration with Jet Set Trash) by Tomorrow We Fall featured on. In addition and like promised the runner-up remixes by Determinators & Esparta plus the drum cover by Namtar are available on the “Restless Slumber Free EP” on Jet Set Trash as well meanwhile, so there´s plenty of evil for you to check out and train your headbang skills! Nothing to be added on my part but PLAY IT LOUD!!!

Second post of the day and despite having to change my post right at the last minute due to the tracks of the new release i had planned to post magically disappearing (shame on those responsible), i have a replacement ready that maybe isn’t from a “big” name but certainly is of equal quality as Rubber Spanner‘s 3rd EP “Drop Like Flies” dropped a couple of days ago on Jet Set Trash and made some serious noise as well! Featuring 5 originals that range from Punkstep to melodic Electro House and Metalectro to Techno, the London (UK) based producer really stepped up with this new EP and took things to the next level. The self titled “Drop Like Flies” might as well be the Electro-Step cousin of bands like Agnostic Front or Dropkick Murphys and is a track full of style and attitude but so are the rest of the tracks on the EP. Clever lyrics, guitars, melodies that will stick with you and groove define the 5 originals and as if that’s not enough to make a killer EP, Heavygrinder, Laforcah, Gor FLsh and Soul Machine remixed the tracks and delivered some of their best work up to date too. Nothing else to add, if you aren’t yet convinced there is nothing i can say to change that, so here’s the preview and you better check it out!

Keeping things bagning for the now and following in the same spirit of the previous posts and here’s another preview of one more pretty nice sounding upcoming EP. Rubber Spanner is back with his 3rd EP on Jet Set Trash and this time the London (UK) based artist and Jet Set Trash label boss decided to mix things up by delivering some of those catchy and melodic electro house tracks he showcased in his last EP “Shit Happens” while at the same time returning to his metal and punk roots and picking up his guitar for the tracks “Drop LIke Flies” (the EP title track) and “Overdrive” (Trashed Again) which is an obvious title and musical reference to his “Get Trashed” track released a couple of years ago. Both great sounding vocal driven, guitar fueled tracks and something you might even describe as punkstep in the case of “Drop Like Flies”. Some pretty nice remixes too on the EP with Heavygrinder, Laforcah and Gor FLsh delivering some first class bangers as well as Soul Machine who contributed a techno-electro-rock rework of the track “Satanic Synths From Outer Space”, a groovy techno orginal and closing track of the EP. Overall geat variety and number of tracks (9 in total) and a release that is banging, melodic and fresh! Check out the teaser and stay tuned for the EP, out tomorrow!
