Hell-o and a great week to all, hopefully after a kick ass weekend full of partying and bass. For those who for whatever reason didn’t get to bass it up during the weekend though, we have plenty of bass coming up starting with a new release by Starkstrom. If not mistaken this is the first time the duo from Germany is featured on Metalectro so some tasty fresh blood to start the day with as well. 2 nice and dirty electro originals alongside 4 remixes by Hijack Da Bass, Vortex, Polymorphic and Fanatique is what you will find on this EP out on Freaks Like Us and it’s fair to say that this is a rich in bass release which all those of you who like your electro trashy and heavy should definitely check out!
Another really enjoyable recent release is the one that came by the LA based duo going by the name Gunslinger. “Whiskey” is the title of the duo’s latest single release on Audiophille Live and even though the combination of artist name and release title might be brining images and thoughts of cowboys and wild west scenes in your mind, let us ensure you this isn’t the case and this is no saloon music by any means. This is some well done Electro House and a track that to put it as simply as possible, is well produced and fun to listen to. The rock influences are once again present as is often the case with Gunslinger and you know we would never complain about that since we love our guitars here, so just hit play below and get a taste!
Hell-o all and here we are with some more bass destruction coming your way and as we are getting closer to the weekend it’s time to pick the pace up too and what a better way to do that than some brand new GTRONIC? For those who missed the big dirty good news, the bass heavyweight is back with 2 new original tracks and an EP on Freakz Me Out and as expected it’s the good old heavy, dark and nasty GTRONIC stuff too. The EP is titled “After Dark” and if there was any fear that the producer from Belgium was losing his dark and heavy edge and sound, his return on Freakz Me Out is about to put an end to such worries. Let’s just say that for those hungry for raw trashy bass “After Dark” EP is just the release for you, so check it out!
Hell-o all and here comes your daily dose of bass and with this being the only post for today due to time restraints we better make it a good one and the “We Are Not P(o)P” Pt.03 and Pt.04 double compilation by Jet Set Trash is perfect to do just that. With 27 originals and remixes released on the label last year and a variety of styles that range from Electro House and more commercial Dubstep by artists such as Virtual Riot, Heavygrinder and Oxylice, to nasty trashy bass by the likes of Skitsnygg, Laforcah, Tim Tonik, Gor FLsh and of course some guitar fueled Metalectro favorites by Zardonic, Imagin8, Rubber Spanner and Drop Goblin that come as no surprise being on a Jet Set Trash release, this is a guaranteed energy boost to get you through the rest of the week.
Time to get bass-dirty with Rekoil‘s “Reclaimer” (Part 2) EP that was out on February 18 through Firepower Records featuring 7 originals on it, all dark and heavy as one would expect by Rekoil. The young producer from Baltimore, USA, who recently reached the 20k fans on his Facebook page has been keeping very busy, as he recently published some new free tracks to celebrate hitting the 20k fans which in addition to the release of his “Get Down” remix for Downlink’s “The Launch Remixed” EP as well as “Reclaimer” (Part 2), we think it’s fair to say there is no shortage of bass coming from him lately neither we see any reason why that should change as it’s big, fat and filthy bass in its majority as well – just the way we like it!
