Next up, another new release and a big (ok, huge) collaboration original between Dodge & Fuski and Barely Alive who need no introductions really and a track that all those of you into Dubstep will love no doubt. Melodic and powerful Dubstep, “Poison” is out on Disciple Recordings since a week ago (October 6) and if you expect anything else than top production and big bass then you obviously aren’t familiar with the names involved in this collaboration. Maybe slightly more on the melodic side than we would have liked here on Metalectro but that doesn’t make it any less of a good track, besides we can’t say that “Poison” lacks in energy or power by any means. So, for all you Dubstep fans here’s something to make your day, enjoy!
Going on with another release and this one isn’t really new since it’s been out since April (2014) but it somehow escaped our attention until today which marks Alex Snow‘s debut feature on Metalectro. So, welcome onboard the hellmobile Alex Snow, an Electro House/Techno artist hailing from Russia and definitely making a very good impression with his recent tracks, which lead into coming accross “The Storm” EP, released on Madhype Records about 6 months ago. 3 genre blender originals, thankfully slightly more on Electro side though, with some serious outbursts of bass and power and nice groove, made “The Storm” EP an instant Alex Snow favorite and therefore earned him the first Metalectro mention. We’ll be definitely keeping an eye and ear on Alex Snow and we suggest you do the same!
Hell-o to all bassheads out there and after putting ourselves together after the weekend it’s time to catch up with what’s new and heavy in hevy bass electronic music scene and we have plenty coming today so strap in and stay tuned. And in case you don’t believe us, we have a grand opening post as well with Neosignal who just had a new EP out on Noisia’s imprint Division Recordings and we think even putting all those names in the same sentence should be more than enough to convince you “Space Gsus” EP is as huge as one expects a Neosignal release to be. 7 original tracks, rich in bass, top production and a dark groovy and deep atmosphere which there is no way you won’t be sucked right into. Definitely a release to check from the first to last second and we know this preview is going to leave you wanting more!
When you wake up and log in on Soundcloud to find a new original track by F.O.O.L waiting to be checked on your stream feed, you know it’s going to be a good day. Even more when it’s a new release that’s also available as a free download which i’s exactly what happened today. So in an instance we knew we had to start attackng our keyboards and nail a few posts down. “Throne” is out on Monstercat and available on all digital stores but you can also grab it for free. Classic F.O.O.L Electro House, combining power and energy with those great atmospheres and melodies we are used to listen to by the Swedish producer. And if there was any doubt that F.O.O.L remains loyal to the sound we came to know and love by him, this track will definitely place the king back on his throne.
Staying on the dark side of electronic music with a brand new release and the return of the Portuguese duo Beatbender in the epicentre of the heavy bass Electro scene. It has been quite a while, more than a year if not mistaken, since Beatbender‘s last release but they are back better than ever since yesterday on JST Records with “Anti Optimism”, the first single from their upcoming LP “Elevate”. 1 original accompanied by 3 remixes, all of them by artists who release their music on the UK bas(s)ed label. Laforcah who should be more than known among the Electro Punk and trash-heads among you, the Russian devastator duo The Unique Yagark plus the newcomers and impressive I Think I Broke Something who are from the very early stages of their carreer setting very high standards and their vocal remix of “Anti Optimism” is no exception. Fresh, deep, dark and heavy are some of the keywords that come to mind when listening to Beatbender‘s “Anti Optimism” and it’s safe to say that the duo seems to be back for good and stronger than ever. Check out the preview and stay tuned for more by these guys!
