Hell-o all and today we have decided to go a bit stingy with our posts so instead of posting full releases we will stick to the tracks we really thought stood out from their respective releases. So think of today’s session somewhat like a selection of newly released tracks, coming in parts. And to start with, we have something special as anytime you see these artists mentioned in the same sentence it has to be great news, let alone in the same track title. Finally, for those who had been looking forward to this one, the F.O.O.L & Didrick remix of Astronaut‘s & Far Too Loud‘s “War” is out on Monstercat and it sounds as good as one would expect it to. All the trademark sounds and characteristics that have made F.O.O.L an Electro fans favorite since the very beginning are there, perfectly balanced with the elements that made Astronaut‘s & Far Too Loud‘s original such a great track. This is Electro House at its best and a must check out remix, which definitely lives up to the expectations created by the names involved in this collaboration as well as the original. Enjoy! Hell-o and greetings to all Electronic music saints and sinners out there. Mid week blogging session about to commence right now on Metalectro and we have some fresh music coming your way today, rich in big bad dirty bass and sounds (as usual). And what better way to start the day than this new collaboration original between Apashe and Lektrique? Out yesterday on Kannibalen Records, “Confess” finds the two artists joining forces to come up with an Electro House single which combines in a very well balanced way elements of both their personal sound and style, while staying close to the “kannibal nature” and sound we’re used to hearing from the Canadian label’s artists and releases. Plenty of room for forgiveness here even if you don’t like “Confess”, which we seriously doubt is going to happen anyway, so just hit play and check it out! Continue reading »

One day left before the weekend and so it’s time to get a bit funky (or a lot actually) and set the mood right for the weekend partying and festivities and we have the perfect track for that too. A newly published collaboration original between The Noisy Freaks and J.A.C.K which was supposed to be released on The Noisy Freaks Straight Life” album but never made it on the release. Well, lucky for us since here’s “We Are The Ones” reworked and available as a free download and for all fans of the French Electro sound and scene this one is a must as it doesn’t get much better than this. And it’s safe to say these guys are definitely “the ones” who got the grooves for a great start in the weekend, now let’s see who’s got the moves!

Onwards for the final post for today and here comes the “remix of the day” which is no other than this super powerfull Ryle remix of Tim Ismag‘s “Anime Fight”. Taken from Tim Ismag‘s “Anime Fight” EP that was released on Rottun ten days ago, including the original mix of the track plus 3 further remixes by Trinergy, VMP and Nerd RageRyle‘s remix is a raging bass beast delivering megatons of energy and needless to say, our favorite from the EP as well. An undisputed remix of the day by our standards and definitely a remix that not only keeps the standards high for Ryle after his remix of Combichrist “From My Cold Dead Hands” but even raising them and leaves us looking forward to what comes next by the USA based artist. So boys and girls, fasten your seatbelts and get ready for take off because Ryle‘s remix of “Anime Fight” is not to be taken lightly. Turn the volume way up and press play below!

Hell-o all and today we’re going to be starting the day with a track from a new release you have probably seen around or heard about somewhere as it’s been a well talked about release, with opinions about it being as diverse and different as the music on the Culprate “Deliverance” album is too. An LP that definitely doesn’t stay constricted within any limits as it transcends all musical boundaries and is freely expressing and conveying different moods, emotions and ideas that show tremendous musical maturity, creativity and flexibility. A perfect mix of electronic and “organic” sound, “Deliverance” is the kind of album that will find both friends and enemies in both these musical worlds. We from our side really enjoyed the album without thinking in terms of styles or genres but for what it really is, good music. So, here is the track “Within” from “Deliverance”, which is our favorite from the release as well and we thought would make a great track to open today’s blogging session with. Not our usual heavy stuff but a great track nevertheless so check it out and go give the rest of the LP a listen too here!
