Before we call it a night we have one last dose of powerfull and dark electro coming with today’s “remix of the day” which happens to be a face off between Hantise and Laforcah, who both remixed Gor FLsh‘s “Booze And Other Good Habits” on the Canadian’s recently released EP “Undead” on Jet Set Trash. Both remixes are heavy, awesome and louder than hell – as was the original and very characteristic original by Gor FLsh too. Each of these 2 remixers managed to maintain some of the trademark Gor FLsh sounds from the original track but also added their very own touch to their remixes and took the track into 2 very different directions, transforming it into 2 very different sounding but equally devastating remixes. Definitely headbbanging material by both and 2 remixes on the same track that imo is simply impossible to pick one over the other, so here they are both. Check them out and have a great evening!

Staying to those lovely heavy guitar fueled Electro-step sounds and furious super-energised basslines with the debut release by the French trio Le Cactheur, La Pute & Le Dealer. Out on Jet Set Trash, it is no exaggeration to say that “Smell My Fingers” sets the perfect example of how a “pedal to the metal” release should sound like. Full of Rock’N’Roll attitude and bad intentions the trio is really making a statement with their “Smell My Fingers” EP. 1 original that blurs the boundaries of Metal, Electro, Punk, Drum & Bass and Dubstep and follows no rules but sets its own. Style and power is 2 things you can hear throghout the original and the 3 remixes by Sawgood, RIOT 87 and Imagin8 follow in those exact same footsteps. You will struggle to find anything bad on this one really, so unless you are a fan of Justin Bieber turn the volume all the way up and make sure your neighboors get a good strong taste of this one too!

Keeping the new releases coming as there have been a few of those out recently and Drop Goblin‘s new EP is exactly that. The USA producer is more known for his dark guitar fueled Dubstep and his “Whiskey Biscuit” EP, out on Jet Set Trash 1 week ago, has definitely kept the nice heavy guitar sound we love here flowing nicely through the original but this time Dubstep’s Goblin has delivered a cheerful and feelgood original track rather than a dark one. Cartoon-ish vocals, country-folk music elements and nice catchy melodies replace Drop Goblin‘s dark vibes but “Whiskey Biscuit” is still heavy nevertheless. 2 remixes as well on this one, a super-energised Drum & Bass remix by The Mechanist plus a hard Electro-step one by Knooper. Overall, a nice release that goes from 0-100 in a few seconds so if you haven’t checked it out yet, hit play below.

Time to wrap things up and lets close with a reccently released remix by Geometry. A duo that has been featured here many times with both remixes and originals and one of those up & comers in the European Electro House scene to look out for. Geometry haven’t really been as active the last few months for reasons unknown to us but when they do come up with a new track they are on top of their game and the result is still as impressive as it has always been with these guys. Top production and great tracks is what you should always expect by them and their remix on CrazyMT‘s “Right Way”, out on Jet Set Trash 1 month ago, is exactly that and a fair and square “remix of the day”. Here is the full track in case you haven’t checked it out and we certainly hope to listen to more like this by Geometry. Check it out and have a nice evening!
