Time to wrap things up here, so last but not least i chose my pick for the “remix of the day” by another reliable electro deliverer – by Knooper! A track he uploaded quite some days ago already, being his submission to The Noisy Freaks´ remix contest on the track “French Club“. Sadly he didn´t win, something i didn´t get after a brief check of the winning remixes some days ago, but it wasn´t up to me to pick the winners, luckily it´s up to me to what´s being blogged here though, and since i liked the groove, the super fresh flow and the lavishly used drumrolls here and there a lot i even thought it´s worth to award the ROTD for that! Certainly not the heaviest banger, but providing good vibes and nice feel overall a very good track to close the day with imo – so enjoy, don´t forget to grab your copy and have a nice evening peeps!!!

Keeping the new releases coming as there have been a few of those out recently and Drop Goblin‘s new EP is exactly that. The USA producer is more known for his dark guitar fueled Dubstep and his “Whiskey Biscuit” EP, out on Jet Set Trash 1 week ago, has definitely kept the nice heavy guitar sound we love here flowing nicely through the original but this time Dubstep’s Goblin has delivered a cheerful and feelgood original track rather than a dark one. Cartoon-ish vocals, country-folk music elements and nice catchy melodies replace Drop Goblin‘s dark vibes but “Whiskey Biscuit” is still heavy nevertheless. 2 remixes as well on this one, a super-energised Drum & Bass remix by The Mechanist plus a hard Electro-step one by Knooper. Overall, a nice release that goes from 0-100 in a few seconds so if you haven’t checked it out yet, hit play below.

Going on with a new release and this is as fresh as it gets really as not only it was released a few hours ago but is also sounding pretty fresh! Exhorth might seem like the new kid on the blog and technically he is fresh blood but you might have heard some of his previous work as Divine-X. Divine-X is no longer though and one half of them goes on as Exhorth now and keeps delivering the goods. With tracks out on SectionZ and Play Me Too already, the Brasilian has now found his new home on Jet Set Trash and is launching his bassline attack with the single “Like This”. 1 fresh, very inspired and maximal sounding original with a lot of power, great big sound and plenty of style plus 3 remixes by Mr Batou, Drop Goblin and Knooper. A lot to like on this one really which covers almost all EDM spectrums and styles. Great depth and variety, with all 4 tracks adding to the release as a whole as well as being very nice to listen to on their own. So here’s a preview of  Exhorth‘s “Like This” and it’s definitely one to like!

I’ll go on with another new release which was out 3 days ago on Jet Set Trash and finds 2 names blogged here a few times already joining forces on this collaboration EP. Knoooper & Skanek are 2 of Portugal’s most promising new producers and have both proven so numerous times with their individual tracks. A few months ago they decided to team up and come up with a collaboration track, which they titled “Warriors”. Now the “Warriors” EP is finally out, featuring also 3 remixes by Razat, Raging Raven and King Peanuts. A nice and pretty well balanced EP that moves between Electro House, Trash, Dubstep and Drum & Bass and combines melodic string sections with heavy bass lines and the occasional deep dark atmosphere. Definitely one to check out imo, so here’s the EP preview! You know what to do!

I have another preview and minimix of an upcoming release coming on next and this time is a collab tracks and Single/EP release by Knooper & Skanek. The two young producer from Portugal joined forces in “Warriors”, a track that was originally produced some time ago but never got released. Until June 20th that is of course, as “Warriors” seems to be finally getting the attention it deserved and is now going to be out as an EP on Jet Set Trash. 1 original plus 3 remixes by Razat,Raging Raven and King Peanuts and a nice mix between Electro House, Dubstep, Drum & Bass and the occasional atmospheric dark trashy electro. Nice melodies and string sections, plenty of power and bass and definitely an EP that sounds very intereseting to say the least juding from this teaser, so check it out!
