Keeping the new releases coming as there have been a few of those out recently and Drop Goblin‘s new EP is exactly that. The USA producer is more known for his dark guitar fueled Dubstep and his “Whiskey Biscuit” EP, out on Jet Set Trash 1 week ago, has definitely kept the nice heavy guitar sound we love here flowing nicely through the original but this time Dubstep’s Goblin has delivered a cheerful and feelgood original track rather than a dark one. Cartoon-ish vocals, country-folk music elements and nice catchy melodies replace Drop Goblin‘s dark vibes but “Whiskey Biscuit” is still heavy nevertheless. 2 remixes as well on this one, a super-energised Drum & Bass remix by The Mechanist plus a hard Electro-step one by Knooper. Overall, a nice release that goes from 0-100 in a few seconds so if you haven’t checked it out yet, hit play below.

We stay on the classy side of trash and there are quite a few names based in South America that definitely muscle in when it comes to this genre, so let´s go ahead with this killer trash free EP by Rocket and Baambatta named “T.R.A.S.H.“, available since around 2,5 weeks on After Mess! Including four different and eclectic originals -two of them being collaborations between Rocket and Baambatta– alongside five as great and varying remixes by Dizelkraft, Acid Paradox, GHO2T3P, The Mechanist and Bassphomet that meet all needs a real trash lover can have, covering a range from hard and dirty electro to dubstep and drum and bass! Throughout a very cool EP imo, and a superfat freebie into the bargain that shouldn´t be missed in anyone´s collection – so get ready to get trashed, play it loud and make sure to grab your copies too!!!

It has been a while since the last subject-related Metalectro Special if not mistaken, and if there´s genre next to our common blog fodder that is usually being featured here, but delivers often pretty cool, dark and badass tracks with an amazing pace, it certainly is Drum And Bass, so i thought to come up with D`N´B Special Pt.II today! Featuring altogether six tracks – three of them remixes, and all tracks being freebies – this post also delivers plenty of fresh blood as four of the artists being featured within (five strictly speaking, the 5th has been remixed though) will also be mentioned for the 1st time on this space hereby! I hope you enjoy this small collection and last post, check the tracks out and have a great evening!!!

Boss Doms – Tango Smith [Freebie]

Imagin8 – Cops And Robbers (The Mechanist Remix) [Freebie]

Dead Battery – Misled [Freebie]

Freqax – The Witch (Abara Remix) [Freebie]

Mr. Bill & Stickybuds – Hard, But Fair [Freebie]

Deftones – Tempest (HeavyGrinder Remix) [Freebie]

Going on with the same massive sound and style and a new release by Imagin8. As fresh as it gets this one was out a few hours ago on Jet Set Trash and when we talk about massive we mean m-a-s-s-i-v-e! The extremely talented 18 yo wonderkid from Boston (USA) has hit again, this time with an 8 track EP, titled “Pure Justice”. 3 originals, moving between Dubstep, Drumstep and Drum & Bass plus 5 really great remixes by Zardonic, The Mechanist, Prismatic, Monster Kill and No Fake? and it should be pretty clear that this is an EP bound to make some serious noise and rightfully so. All tracks are great, with the opening “Pure Justice” setting the mood for what’s to follow right from the start and you will hardly find anything bad on this one, especially if you like your bass music loud and top class! Definitely a realease to check out so hit play below!

Going on with a preview of an upcoming release next and an EP by a young artist who has really been impressive the last few months. Moving between Dubstep, Drumstep and Drum & Bass usually (with the occassional Trap outbursts that are ansent from this EP though), Imagin8 has joined Jet Set Trash and has his first EP release on the London  (UK) based label coming out on October 14. This is Imagin8‘s 3rd EP release overall and it seems that the very talented youngster from Boston (USA) is ready to take things to the next level and step up his game. 3 big originals with impressive sound design, great build ups leading to massive drops and even infused with the right dose of guitars and 5 remixes by Zardonic, The Mechanist, Prismatic, Monster Kill and No Fake?, all names that make up for an imperssive remixer line up and even more impressive results judging by this preview. Great sounding EP overall, so check this teaser and keep your eyes and ears on Imagin8 as it appears this is only the beginning for him!
