Time to wrap things up for today, although we might have an extra surprise post coming up later – we won’t be saying what so you will have to stay tuned for that. In the meanwhile it’s time to get nasty and turn up the bass, the raw thrash bass that Monophonique have been doing such a great job delivering over the years they have been producing that is. Dark, heavy and damn great are the words that come to mind when listening of the Monophonique remix on Bombastards track “Paranoia”. Taken from Bombastards recent release “Back To Roots” EP that was out on BADD Records featuring 2 originals plus 3 further remixes by DJ Antention, Hantise and FetOo, this is a pretty nice remix and one of the traks to stand out from the release, delivering a nice dark groove and therefore i decided to give today’s “remix of hte day” title! Hell-o to all Metalectroheadz and bass freakz! I hope you all had a great weekend and you’re refreshed and ready to face any horrors and daily grind related issues might cross your path this week. So, back in blogging duty and let me tell you that big things are on the way in the next days and weeks but for now let’s go big on the bass with aUtOdiDakT‘s new “Slasher Army” EP which was out a few days ago on Mähtrasher, featuring 1 original plus remixes by Kroyclub, Hantise, overNoize and Raupe. In case any of you missed the previews or haven’t checked out “Slasher Army” yet, let me tell you that this is some fine and lovely ear grinding thrash bass right here and as my opening post for today i have the Full EP, including the full length original mix as well and you better make sure to check it out!

Moving on with a preview of an upcoming EP and if The S in my opening post were coming back on the blog after a long absence, here’s a name who’s always been a regular and even more lately as he continues his hyper-productive year. Of course i’m talking about aUtOdiDakT who promised us earlier this year to release a new single every month and damn does this guy know how to keep a promise or what!? His new upcoming single, out 11th of June on Mähtrasher Records is titled “Slasher Army” and looking at the remixer line up as well as listening to the teaser i think it’s a very suitable title. A killer original plus 4 remixes by Kroyclub, Hantise, Overnoize and Raupe and if you’re after some thrashing bass, trashed up Haezer-esque electro you’re going to love this one! Press play!

New Release: Macrowave “Dancing Plague” EP

Going on with another new release next and just looking at the remixer line up makes me wanna play this one loud. So, let’s put this new EP by Macrowave and BADD Records to the test and see whether it’s really as loud as its line up suggests. It’s titled “Dancing Plague” and besides the 2 originals it also features 3 remixes by Pelussje, Hantise and Blaster. The 2 originals certainly lived up to my expectations, as they are hard and loud but also have that sweet, dark, almost hypnotising Macrowave sound and feel. As for the 3 remixes, big ups to Hantise and Blaster who are taking this EP to the next level with their remixes but i can’t say the same about the Pelussje remix too, which felt a bit out of place style-wise and a bit “plastic” imo. A nice EP overall and one you should definitely play loud!
