artworks-000078509726-y9qxpi-originalContinuing with another brand new and fresh release and a very nice EP by Liberator. “The Sound Of Liberation” is the 2nd EP release by the Italian artist and this time he has chosen as his musical home the another UK based label, Jet Set TrashLiberator‘s new EP includes 5 original tracks plus 2 remixes, 1 official remix by Italian duo Pelussje and 1 free remix by the Frenchman Mr Batou. Great flow, dark moods and themes and the overall nice production make the 5 orignals fun to listen to no doubt. A mix of Electro House/Complextro structures with a trashy edge and Dubstep/Acid/Techno elements is what you can expect by Liberator who definitely seems to be taking his music to the next level since his debut EP and developing his musical identiy, while the 2 remixes are adding a nice variety to the EP too. A pure club/dance remix by Pelussje and a heavy Dubstep remix by Mr Batou come (available fro free) come to wrap this EP up and we have definitely enjoyed this one a lot so make sure you check it out!

Last post of the day and i will once again skip my “remix of the day” and close with a video instead. A video by Pelussje, who haven’t been featured here for a while but in any case they haven’t been forgotten and how could they after having provided us with so many banging material in the past? So, today i have this video of “The King Is Dead” to post, a recent but still not new free track by Pelussje and a pretty nice one too. Don’t expect a big production or an impressive video, it’s more like footage of Pelussje playing live and doing what they know how to do very well, party hard and make the people go wild. So, if you’ve never been to a Pelussje live, here’s a pretty good idea of what you can expect, so check this one out, grab the “The King Is Dead” Free EP here and have a great evening!

Going on with another new release next and just looking at the remixer line up makes me wanna play this one loud. So, let’s put this new EP by Macrowave and BADD Records to the test and see whether it’s really as loud as its line up suggests. It’s titled “Dancing Plague” and besides the 2 originals it also features 3 remixes by Pelussje, Hantise and Blaster. The 2 originals certainly lived up to my expectations, as they are hard and loud but also have that sweet, dark, almost hypnotising Macrowave sound and feel. As for the 3 remixes, big ups to Hantise and Blaster who are taking this EP to the next level with their remixes but i can’t say the same about the Pelussje remix too, which felt a bit out of place style-wise and a bit “plastic” imo. A nice EP overall and one you should definitely play loud!
