Weekend Bass 3It’s that time of the week again and even though we haven’t been able to keep up with our bass addiction as much as we’d like to this week, it’s never too late to get the bass cannons loaded with some nasty sounds and get loud, so that’s exactly what we’re gonna do just before we get into weekend mode. From Electro House to Dubstep and Drum N Bass, today’s track selection is packing some serious firepower (and we don’t necessarily mean the label) by Black Tiger Sex Machine and Lektrique, Figure (who hasn’t been blogged here for a while so a big bad “welcome back” to him), Hugeative (who brings some tasty fresh blood in today’s track selection), a massive collaboration by SKisM, Habstrakt and Megalodon and last but not least Muzzy (who just had a new EP out). So, ‘nuf said and we better let the music do the talking, so press play and enjoy!

Not very long ago we posted a preview/work in progress of the back then still upcoming Astronaut & Black Tiger Sex Machine “Rockers” collaboration. Finally, now “Rockers” has been made available for purchase and streaming via Kannibalen Records and for those of you who were looking forward to this collaboration you now have a reason to rejoice. Of course as one would expect the highlight of the release is the EP main track “Rockers”, although we have to say that both tracks qualify as very good Electro House and we can guarantee that if that’s your kind of sound then you are most definitely going to love them. Maybe “Rockers” and “Bounce” are not the sort of tracks that will revolutionalise the Electro House sound or a release that will rock your socks off as much as the the title suggests (we leave you be the judges of that though) but it will absolutely get you bouncing and sweating on the dancefloor played at appropiate volumes and this we can be certain of. For those of you keeping an eye on either of Black Tiger Sex Machine‘s or Astronaut‘s social media you have to be already aware that the two artists are collaborating on a new single and  just a couple of nights ago a video emerged teasing us with a snippet of their upcoming collaboration “Rockers”, which will drop on the Canadian trio’s imprint Kannibalen Records on March 3. Luckily enough, a better quality audio teaser has just now appeared on Soundcloud too, confirming what we could already tell from watching the video teaser uploaded on Black Tiger Sex Machine‘s Facebook page – that “Rockers” will rock some socks of. Some good Electro House to look forward to so check out this teaser and mark the date on your calendars! Continue reading »

Let´s slow down a bit in terms of sheer bruatlity and replace hardness with powerful bass, distortion with depth, add some banging guitar sounds and blend this delicious ingredients to a soulful and steadily boosting fuel going by the name “Electrons“, which is the latest track by Black Tiger Sex Machine that has kindly been provided by EDM.com! A tune that reminded me a bit of “Moonlight” (another current freebie by Black Tiger Sex Machine in case you missed it), as it has a quite similar comforting but energetic vibe imo, even though “Electrons” comes around slightly slower-paced and less playful. Still great stuff by the Canadian trio and a must have imo, so make sure to snatch your copy too, first though play it loud!!!
