Going with a pretty brutal Dubstep track next and it’s fair to say that Sullivan King‘s suits the Metalstep and Metalectro description, standards and tastes by all means. Out last month on Rottun Recordings, “Terminus” has all those ingredients that make a proper banger and you know that when we say “banger” we really mean it and it’s not just a word used to describe tracks that are non-heavyweights. Dark, aggressive, guitar and screamo vocals reinforced and in one word brutal, Sullivan King delivers hell and mayhem for a bit more than 4 minutes in “Terminus”, the way only a few artists can and is definitely entering the Metalectro pantheon alongside names such as Zardonic, Gor FLsh, Laforcah, Drivepilot (to mention a few) and many other beloved artists that are too many to mention here. Definitely a hard hitter and a must check out track, whether you like Dubstep, Metal, Electro or any hard and aggressive music style and genre really so hit play and blast this one as loud as you can!
Hell-o and happy mid-week to all bassheads out there and what could actually make the week better than some fresh heavy tunage? So let’s the ball rolling and bass flowing and starting our Wednesday session we have a new single by Egyptian duo Against Humanity. Out on THU Records 10 days ago, Against Humanity‘s new single “Destroy” is a hard hitting heavy Electro track, combinging the distorted electronic sounds we all love with some nice melodies and even more Complextro-ish elements. Definitely a track to check out and a very interesting combination of different styles, “Destroy” is the perfect introduction track for all those who aren’t familiar with Against Humanity yet to get a first taste of the duo’s work and music. Check it out and stay tuned for more by these guys!
Here’s a new original track by a name that has been featured here a few times already with some free and official releases, the Belgian duo Ravolution, who recently had their track “Smash” released on Play Me Records‘ “New Blood” Vol.05 compilation, including altogether 16 tracks that vary from Trap to Dubstep and Drum N Bass to Electro, by mostly smaller and less known artists. For those familiar with the duo’s sound “Smash” follows in the footsteps of Ravolution‘s previous work, staying loyal to their Electro roots and is the track that stood out in the sea of ‘new blood’, both stylistically and soundwise. Not there aren’t some more nice tracks to be found on “New Blood” Vol.05 but given the oversaturated by often too similar sounding tracks Electronic music scene nowadays, Ravolution‘s contribution was definitely a refreshing and memorable moment while listening to “New Blood” Vol.05. A nice track which leaves us wondering what’s to follow by the duo, so check it out!
And since we started the day with some powerfull and pretty heavy tunes let’s keep the power flowing but pick up the tempo a bit with a new collaboration track by Black Sun Empire & State Of Mind and normally having these two names in the same sentence, let alone track title, should be more than enough to know what’s coming. Drum N Bass of the highest and filthiest caliber and “Ego” is no exception. Released on Blackout Music just yesterday “Ego” is a 6 minute long non-stop moving experience like one would expect by the two artists and one more Drum N Bass gem to be added both to the artists’ and Blackout Music‘s catalogue and definitely a track all those who enjoy hard and super energised Electronic music should check out. So here it is, crank it up, hit play and let the whole neighbourhood feel the boost, bass and power!
Sticking to another new single release and another Italian artist for the time being and it’s no secret Mr Tools has been coming up with some pretty nice and hard hitting Electro tracks over the last few years. And his latest release on Evilsound is no exception. “Dirty” is exactly what the title suggests with some full sounding and dirty sound design and quite an energy boost. If you are familiar with Mr Tools and like his sound and previous releases then this will definitely be down your alley and you are going to enjoy it no doubt. The artist from Rome is sticking to what he knows how to do well and isn’t going for some sort of chart friendly festival sounding EDMesque sound but we might even say is going for full power on “Dirty”, even more than he did in his most recent releases. Definitely one to check out so hit play and get dirty!
