Hell-o all and after what have been a few silent but definitely not quiet days from our side it’s time to get back into bass-blasting mode and leave the weekend behind (only until the next one). So, lets get things started and the bass flowing with a new release by Hosting Bass and the French producer’s new EP “Hands To The Sky”, out on Audiophille Live about a week ago. Featuring 2 originals and some nice remixes by Phrenik, Troublegum and FetOo “Hands To The Sky” is a nice and well balanced EP. Melodic and equally hard electro house and dubstep parts keep the EP interesting from start to end, with Phrenik‘s and FetOo‘s remixes standing out and taking the release onto the next level. So, hit play, check it out and don’t go anywhere, plenty more coming!

Time to wrap things up and close one more Metalectro session as i have already reached my fifth and final post today and yes, yes, i have my pick for the “remix of the day” coming up and it’s a newly released big remix by Tim Ismag, who needs no introductions really. This time he remixed Phrenik & Stiletto “Can’t Wait”, taken from the “The Impact” Remixed EP, which was released on Simplify Recordings a week ago. The EP also features 3 more remixes, by Tut Tut Child and KJ Sawka on “Ready For Impact” (feat. PLS DNT STP) and by MineSweepa on the track “The Frequency”. This Tim Ismag remix defintely stood out from the rest in my ears though and so i decided it deserved the “remix of the day” title, therefore here it is! Check it out (as well as the rest of the EP) and have a great evening!

Here’s another new release and i’ll be leaving the single tracks behind for now, as the Lock N Bounce debut EP “Getting Wet” has 9 great tracks i could post as singles. Out two days ago on Jet Set Trash“Getting Wet” EP moves between Dub/Drumstep, Electro House and Drum & Bass and admittedly is a huge release. The 5 originals are great, combining melodies, vocal hooks, monster wobs and big beats, while the 4 remixes by Virtual Riot, Phrenik, Heavygrinder and Hijack Da Bass are all adding to the EP an extra quality and variety in style that takes the release as a whole to a next level. Massive productions that can stand among the biggest names in the scene and undoubtedly the Greek trio Lock N Bounce is a name to look out for! Just check this out!

Hell-o all and i hope you’re having a great day! Another Metalectro session is about to get started and you better get ready as i don’t know what will come in terms of my next posts but i’ll be starting nice and big with a freebie today. A free collaboration EP to be precise, which brings back on Metalectro two names that have been mentioned and featured a few times here recently with some pretty nice sounding dubstep tracks. And this 3 original track free EP by Phrenik & Synops is no exception either. “Final Conflict” EP features 1 track by each artist and 1 collboration track, all 3 big on the bass and displaying some serious heavy dubstep making and studio skills. Not your average bubblegum dubstep i’d say but more on the robot vs dinosaurs side and definitely one to check out and grab!

Only a couple of posts left before i call it a day and it’s time for some more freebies and some heavy bass madness. Time to feed that robotic bass monster we all have inside us (some of us more than others) and we call dubstep and both my last posts are going to be blogged under the dubhell category so expect some pretty heavy bass. And having talked about robotic monsters, i have to say that this freebie collaboration track by Phrenik and Synops sounds exactly as i would expect a battle between Godzilla and Transformers to sound like. Expect some massive sounding robo-war madness mixed with megatones of bass and deep, atmospheric, dark sound design. So if the idea of monsters, dinosaurs and robots fighting each other sounds like your kind of thing check this out and grab it!
