Astronaut & Far Too Loud – War (F.O.O.L & Didrick Remix)

Hell-o all and today we have decided to go a bit stingy with our posts so instead of posting full releases we will stick to the tracks we really thought stood out from their respective releases. So think of today’s session somewhat like a selection of newly released tracks, coming in parts. And to start with, we have something special as anytime you see these artists mentioned in the same sentence it has to be great news, let alone in the same track title. Finally, for those who had been looking forward to this one, the F.O.O.L & Didrick remix of Astronaut‘s & Far Too Loud‘s “War” is out on Monstercat and it sounds as good as one would expect it to. All the trademark sounds and characteristics that have made F.O.O.L an Electro fans favorite since the very beginning are there, perfectly balanced with the elements that made Astronaut‘s & Far Too Loud‘s original such a great track. This is Electro House at its best and a must check out remix, which definitely lives up to the expectations created by the names involved in this collaboration as well as the original. Enjoy! When you wake up and log in on Soundcloud to find a new original track by F.O.O.L waiting to be checked on your stream feed, you know it’s going to be a good day. Even more when it’s a new release that’s also available as a free download which i’s exactly what happened today. So in an instance we knew we had to start attackng our keyboards and nail a few posts down. “Throne” is out on Monstercat and available on all digital stores but you can also grab it for free. Classic F.O.O.L Electro House, combining power and energy with those great atmospheres and melodies we are used to listen to by the Swedish producer. And if there was any doubt that F.O.O.L remains loyal to the sound we came to know and love by him, this track will definitely place the king back on his throne.

I´ll go straight ahead with the next new release, like my previous post this one´s also a one track release, so here comes the latest tune by F.O.O.L. going by the name “Keep On Rocking“! It´s out since Monday on Monstercat and as F.O.O.L.-sounding as only F.O.O.L. can be. Sweet melodies meet great flow that boost every listener into the characteristic soundspheres that are the Swedish´ typical trademark. Really a beautiful track and actually nothing to moan about, maybe apart from the fact that this one is another one that doesn´t surprise really but delivers exactly what you´d expect by F.O.O.L., as it´s definitely more than 100% clearly recognizable after only few seconds listening to it who the originator was. But even if i´d appreciate to be surprised style-wise more often, “Keep On Rocking” is a great track for sure, so just play it loud and enjoy!!!

Hell-o all and here we are, ready for another Metalector session to get under way so fasten your seatbelts because today we have plenty of nice stuff coming your way, starting right now with this new original track by Varien! Out December 27 on Monstercat “The Scarlet Dawn” is a great track that brings together all those great elements we have come to love by Varien. Nice epic atmosphere and melodies, big bass and of course the addition of some nice guitars make “The Scarlet Dawn” an instant Varien classic. And is if that is not enough “The Scarlet Dawn” also has a story to tell. Not literally and if the form of lyrics but the great flow and dynamics of the track in combination with the nice atmosphere are almost narrating a story, most likely one of epic battles and victories. Don’t take my word for it though as every song could be narrating a different story for each listener so check it out and see what you think for yourselves!

So, i guess it´s about time for another freebie, also some fresh blood is missing yet, so what about fulfilling both desires in one? Yeah, you´ll get it right now, so say hell-o and welcome to today´s only dose of fresh blood named Favright, coming from Sydney/Australia! I just took notice of Favright few days ago through a share by Monstercat the Canadian label on which he released some tunes already, this track named “Iceladen” is for free though and pretty awesome tune into the bargain imo! Being definitely the most melodic of my posts today it comes in with boosting electro house and a nice complextro edge on, pretty clubby and above all very dancebale – so raise your spirits, check it out and don´t forget to grab your copy too!!!
