It’s time to wrap things up for today but before we do you’ll be pleased to know that we have joined forces with Jet Set Trash and Zardonic to present you the loudest, baddest and most banging remix contest around these day, the Zardonic “Restless Remixes” Contest! The bass metal monstermind Zardonic will have his “Restless Remixes” EP released on Jet Set Trash (September 16th) and alongside a new version of “Restless Slumber”, Lock N Bounce, Hijack Da Bass and Gör FLsh will also be joining the “restless army” and adding their own interpretations of “Restless Slumber” on the EP! 1 winner from the contest, selected by the judges who are no other than Jet Set Trash, Zardonic himself and of course the Metalectro duo Zak Electrohead Kilmister and Hannakiri Hellectro will also be featured on the “Restless Slumber” EP, while the 2 runner up remixes will be given as a Free EP through Metalectro and willl be promoted through the blog, Jet Set Trash and Zardonic himslef! Here’s another new release and i’ll be leaving the single tracks behind for now, as the Lock N Bounce debut EP “Getting Wet” has 9 great tracks i could post as singles. Out two days ago on Jet Set Trash, “Getting Wet” EP moves between Dub/Drumstep, Electro House and Drum & Bass and admittedly is a huge release. The 5 originals are great, combining melodies, vocal hooks, monster wobs and big beats, while the 4 remixes by Virtual Riot, Phrenik, Heavygrinder and Hijack Da Bass are all adding to the EP an extra quality and variety in style that takes the release as a whole to a next level. Massive productions that can stand among the biggest names in the scene and undoubtedly the Greek trio Lock N Bounce is a name to look out for! Just check this out!

Hell-o all and i hope you’re having a great day! Another Metalectro session is about to start so don’t sit too comfortably, as things are going to get bouncy! And having said that, time for my first post and a really big upcoming EP preview by Lock N Bounce and Jet Set Trash. Those of you regulars here will probably know Lock N Bounce already who have been blogged here a few times lately. As for the rest, get ready to be blown away! The trio from Greece have their debut EP “Getting Wet” out on April 30 and it really sounds huge! 5 great originals plus 4 great remixes by Heavygrinder, Phrenik, Virtual Riot and Hijack Da Bass, moving between Dubstep, Electro House, Drumstep and Drum & Bass! A must check out and one to look out for, just hit play if you don’t believe me!

Time to wrap things up here and get in weekend mode and i was going to post my pick for the “remix of the day” until a few minutes ago but then something happened and i changed my mind. “What happened?” you probably wonder and the answer is simple, i stumbled upon this video of an older, free and pretty damn great track by the Greece based Lock N Bounce. A track and video i was aware of and wanted to post here for a while now but never did, so i had to do this time. A self made but quite enjoyable and nice to watch video that undoubtedly works great in complimenting Lock N Bounce‘s “Eyes In The Sky”. As for the track itself, it’s taken from Lock N Bounce‘s “We Sell Ice Cream” free EP and it’s a great, hard hitting and full of energy electro track that i personally very much enjoy as it never fails to get me bouncing. So hit play, enjoy and grab this little sonic weapon and party starter and have a great evening and weekend!

Time for fresh blood and a surprise by our standards i might say too. Lock N Bounce are based in Greece, a country that hasn’t followed the EDM revolution of the last few years but this trio certainly is an exception. Lock N Bounce are being featured here for the 1st time but have been active for a while already and have already released a couple of free EPs. A nice mix of electro, dubstep, sometimes even moombahcore and drun n bass, with great production and big sound, the trio have their debut EP “Getting Wet” coming out on Jet Set Trash soon and it’s a pretty big one too. For now though here’s a recent free original track by Lock N Bounce, feat. Daddy Nek on vocals. Definitely a track and freebie to check out and grab, despite the reggae vocals which i never really was a big fan of.
