Picking up the pace and bass again with a preview of a newly released track by FTampa and you all pretty much know what to expect from the Brasilian producer when he is in a hard hitting mood. And his track “Hero”, taken from the “Hero/Make Some Noise” EP that was out a week ago on Vicious Recordings certainly belongs among his harder tracks. Top production, classic Eletctro House/Complextro FTampa sound and you know things can’t really go wrong with this. To be honest though that wasn’t the case with the 2nd track of the EP “Make Some Noise” which is moving towards a much more Top 100 commercial direction and sound. A well done track again if that’s your sound and thing but definitely not our cup of tea here on Metalectro so we decided to stick to the harder half of the release and the track “Hero” only. Here’s a preview of it, check it out!

Staying to South America for now but moving on to more familiar teritorries sound and style wise as i’ll go on with another pretty good sounding new original track by FTampa (ft. MC Ambush). FTampa‘s new single “Run Away” was out 10 days ago on Vicious Recordings featuring the original vocal mix of the track, which is the one i’ve picked to post here today, as well as one remix by Lush & Simon and an instrumental mix of the track. A pretty nice sounding single overall as both verions of the original sound pretty good as does the remix by Lush & Simon too. If you expect any big surprises though you’ll have to keep waiting as this is your classic high production standard and very well made Electro House, a style in which it’s no secret that FTampa excels at anyway! Check it out!

Time for a freebie, the first of the day and time go heavy on the bass and low on the BPM with this older and pretty nice banging dubstep track by Dank. It’snot very long that i posted the remix FTampa did on “Blow Me”, a pretty nice remix as well, but then again i really like this original mix a lot so i thought it would be unfair to Dank not to blog the original mix too. A blast form the past no doubt as the track has been made puclicly available as a freebie for a few months already but somehow never made it on the blog until today. Still better late than never as they say and really such good tracks never get old anyway. So, in case any of you haven’t checkd this original mix of Dank’s “Blow Me” yet, here it is for your banging pleasure and daily uber-bass explosion. Check it and grab it!

Time to wrap things up but before i call it a day here’s my pick for the “remix of the day” and a pretty nice freebie as FTampa‘s remix of Dank‘s “Blow Me” definitely deserves the ROTD title. A complextro-electro house version of the track, as oppposed to the big sounding dubstep original but as the original version of the track is too, this FTampa remix is going to blow you away. No surprise really as FTampa is up there with the best when it comes to complextro/electro house and this one is no exception. Unfortnatelly for FTampa and Dank this remix never got a release, as neither did the original, but fortunatelly for the rest of us they’re both available as freebies and to paraphrase a bit, this is grade A, 100% pure Brasilian electro house ladies & gentlemen, so make sure to check and grab it!
