Last post for today and therefore i will soon have to wish you all a great evening but before i do that i have another track and a freebie coming on. As expected and since i didn’t post a ROTD yesterday i will be going back to that old habit today and my pick for the “remix of the day” is actually a dubstep track and this pretty nice remix Dank came up with for Kanye West (Ft. Notorious BIG & Jay-Z) “Homecoming”. I never really was a big fan of any of the names featured on the original track so i was a bit surprised to like this one to be honest but it sounds very different and well, improved in relation to the original anyway. A heavy, bassed up dubstep version of the track and definitely a freebie that’s worth grabbing as well, so check it out and have a great evening!

Time to pick up your guitars or just assume your favorite air guitar stance as i have a track by Drop Goblin coming on next and this one might be an older track but it somehow escaped our attention and managed to fly under our radar for quite a while, not any longer though. “Sick, Epic, Dope, Bangin” was released a year ago on Funky Elmement Records on Drop Goblin‘s “Sick, Epic, Dope, Bangin” EP and well, it’s safe to say the title describes the track perfectly. Guitar fuelled, which is something pretty common when talking about Drop Goblin, as well as all those adjectives used in the track title this one is definitely a great one to listen to whether a metalhead, electrohead or dubstepper. The EP also featured some pretty nice remixes by Dank and Synchronice as well as one more original titled “Good For Nothing Dirtbag” and i strongly recommend checking it out, after of course hitting play below!

Time for a freebie, the first of the day and time go heavy on the bass and low on the BPM with this older and pretty nice banging dubstep track by Dank. It’snot very long that i posted the remix FTampa did on “Blow Me”, a pretty nice remix as well, but then again i really like this original mix a lot so i thought it would be unfair to Dank not to blog the original mix too. A blast form the past no doubt as the track has been made puclicly available as a freebie for a few months already but somehow never made it on the blog until today. Still better late than never as they say and really such good tracks never get old anyway. So, in case any of you haven’t checkd this original mix of Dank’s “Blow Me” yet, here it is for your banging pleasure and daily uber-bass explosion. Check it and grab it!

Time to wrap things up but before i call it a day here’s my pick for the “remix of the day” and a pretty nice freebie as FTampa‘s remix of Dank‘s “Blow Me” definitely deserves the ROTD title. A complextro-electro house version of the track, as oppposed to the big sounding dubstep original but as the original version of the track is too, this FTampa remix is going to blow you away. No surprise really as FTampa is up there with the best when it comes to complextro/electro house and this one is no exception. Unfortnatelly for FTampa and Dank this remix never got a release, as neither did the original, but fortunatelly for the rest of us they’re both available as freebies and to paraphrase a bit, this is grade A, 100% pure Brasilian electro house ladies & gentlemen, so make sure to check and grab it!
