Weekend is upon us once again and what a week it’s been in terms of good new music too! Unfortunatelly we haven’t been able to keep up with all the good new music that we’ve come accross recently but with the weekend being just around the corner, what best way to get the party going than a Friday favorite track selection? Some free downloads, some official releases but all new music, today’s selection is diverse as it goes from lighter moods and sounds to heavier and transcends genres. Awesome is the keyword in today’s selection and well, if these 5 tracks by Nero, Dominator & Logan D, Kai Wachi, Lock N Bounce and xKore aren’t enough to make your day and set the mood for the weekend then we don’t know what will. Enjoy!

Another artist who’s no stranger to delivering interesting deep and dark music in Netherlands native Posij, who also had some new music out the last few days with the fifth volume of Critical‘s “Binary” series. Four originals, moving in the Drum & Bass direction those familiar with Posij would expect and hope for. Energy, depth, bass, creativity and variety all in the right amounts and in case anyone wonders why Posij has been gainining speed and the support of artists such as Noisia and other giant names of the Drum & Bass and Electronic music scene in general, “Binary Vol 5” comes just at the right time to answer those questions. So, here come some new Posij sounds and “Critical Presents: Binary Vol.5”, better check it out! Continue reading »
While it’s another Dubstep release that’s been taking over the Internet and Electronic music blogs the last few weeks and days, we’ve decided to pass that by (for the time being at least) and focus on some less known artists who had some new music out and we felt is worth talking about. And LA based Init is definitely one of those artists with his new EP “In The Game”. Deep, dark and somewhat weird the 4 originals on “In The Game” EP, which was out on Firepower Records a couple of days ago, combine all those elements needed to make up an interesting Dubstep or hybrid Dubstep/Trap track, although often are put together in ways that made Init‘s new EP such an interesting listen. Check it out! Continue reading »
Yesterday we saw the return of Italian duo Cyberpunkers with their new Free EP “Sick Tracks” and today we continue in a similar way, with a new release and the return of another loved and loud Italian duo, Laforcah. The two Electro Punksters from the greater Milan area just had their 5th EP released on Jet Set Trash a couple of days ago and if any of you don’t know yet what that means please take a moment and listen as Electro doesn’t come any louder and dirtier than this. 5 new originals, with one of them being available as a free download too, which bring together all those Laforcah characteristic elements and sounds we’ve heard in the duo’s previous 4 releases. But Laforcah didn’t stick only to what we’ve been used to hear from them and decided to explore new territories too with “Dusk”, a heavy and dark Electronica track that definitely left our eardrums happily buzzing. If there’s one thing these guys have proven with their releases so far is that they aren’t prepared to go light and “Dirty” EP comes to confirm that once again. Continue reading »
Italian hard Electro duo Cyberpunkers are back with a new (Free) EP and well, this time they have brought some of the good ol’ cyberpunker sound with them. The duo had been quite keen on trying out different ways of evolving their sound in recent releases, most of them clever too, something that to be honest never quite worked as good as many of their fans would have wanted and hoped for. This time though Cyberpunkers appear refreshed, inspired and in a sense opening up again to their earlier period Electro Punk/Indie Dance/Hard Electro influences and urges and well, it was about time too if you ask us. The duo has also tried some fresh ideas too, with Cyberpunkers trying their masks in some Electronica with “The Lonely Journey”, a very enjoyable track and a direction/sound that seems to suit the duo quite nicely. Here’s “Sick Tracks” EP, check it out and don’t forget to grab your free copy.
