Weekend is coming so here’s a playlist to get the party started. And being Friday the 13th too I thought i’d keep it bloody and heavy. We hope you enjoy the selection (incl. tracks by Lektrique, Kroyclub, XKore, Laforcah, Le Castle Vania, Owl Vision, Father, 501, The Glitch Mob, I Think I Broke Something , Christine and Neosignal). You can also check the playlist on Soundcloud (here) although some of the tracks are only available as previews so Spotify is recommended for the full versions.

As for those of you following the blog from the early days you might remember the regular monthly mixtape series we used to have, which will be probably be replaced by regular playlists. As for the reason why the mixtapes won’t be coming back but will be replaced by these playlists, first we feel it’s more directly beneficial for the artists themselves, second obviously it’s less time consuming to only have to make the right track selection instead of having to do a mixtape with it and finally with the stricter copyright infrigement policies that are in place on Soundcloud nowadays it seems more appropriate.

bass tankWeekend is upon us once again and what a week it’s been in terms of good new music too! Unfortunatelly we haven’t been able to keep up with all the good new music that we’ve come accross recently but with the weekend being just around the corner, what best way to get the party going than a Friday favorite track selection? Some free downloads, some official releases but all new music, today’s selection is diverse as it goes from lighter moods and sounds to heavier and transcends genres. Awesome is the keyword in today’s selection and well, if these 5 tracks by Nero, Dominator & Logan D, Kai Wachi, Lock N Bounce and xKore aren’t enough to make your day and set the mood for the weekend then we don’t know what will. Enjoy!

Our next pick for the day comes straight out of Niveau Zero‘s new EP “Underground Flavor”, released three days ago on Rottun Recordings and it’s the xKore remix of the EP same titled track. A Dubstep monsterpiece full of bass and power, that takes what was a very nice original by Niveau Zero and improves it even more (according to your earbuds at least that is). Definitely our favorite track out of “Underground Flavor” EP, which includes one more original track (a collaboration with Virus Syndicate) as well as 2 further remixes Lumberjvck and TBBT. A nice EP overall with both the original mix of “Underground Flavor” and the xKore remix in particular standing out, so check this out if you’re looking for a track to boost your adrenaline levels. And again it´s about time to call it a day, as mostly i´ll close blogging with my pick for the “remix of the day” and another last freebie for you to grab! Surprisingly it´s the first time today for xKore being featured here, even though being a quite big and popular name the young British has never made it before to snatch a post on this blog yet, finally his time has come though, nailed down with this killer remix of Modestep´s “Saved The World“! The original itself isn´t my cup of tea to be honest, a bit too cheesy and weepy for my personal taste, but this remix by xKore should certainly bring every dancefloor to a quick boil being an ass-kicking and tearing all down drumstep tune! Enjoy, get your copy and keep it loud!!!
