New Release: Laforcah “Not” EP

Hell-o to all and i hope you all had an awesome weekend! Monday again (unfortunatelly) and with a new week ahead it’s time to get loud with our favorite ear grinding bass music. And what better way to start than a brand new release by Laforcah and Jet Set Trash? If anything the Italian duo has already proven many times they are bass experts and their new EP “Not” comes not only to verify that they belong among the heavyweights of the kind but also that imo they have a great future ahead of them. 3 original tracks on the release, all sounding heavy and damn good, as well as 3 remixes by Skitsnygg, Beatbender and Hijack Da Bass which definitely add some extra firepower to the release. Overall, i’d say “Not” EP is most certainly packing enough bass and power to bring down your walls and make the earth beneath your feet tremble, so according to Metalectro standards it’s one you should be checking out!

Hell-o all and i hope you’re having a great day! Wednesday already and you better be ready for some serious bass action as i’ll be getting adorably nasty right from the start with this preview of Laforcah‘s upcoming EP “Not”! Out on Jet Set Trash on the 27th it’ll feature 3 originals (“Not Music”, Not Dancing” and “Not Funny”) as well as 3 banging remixes by the bass extremists Skitsnygg, Beatbender and Hijack The Bass. Pretty heavy and trashy stuff, mixed with plenty of electro punk attitude, an excess of raw power and a hint of insanity, Laforcah‘s new EP sounds great and hopefully it’ll mark the beginning of a new era for the Italian duo. An era that will bring them standing among the giant names of the hard electro scene and with releases like this they certainly deserve it! Press play!

Time for my last post and i’ve decided to close with a new release which also serves as a multiple “remix of the day” post. Jet Set Trash and Gor FLsh released a remixes EP to celebrate 1 year since the release of the Gor FLsh LP and this was an LP that deserved to be remixed as well imo. Of course the task of coming up with remixes that would be equally brutal as the original “Black Metal”, “Masochist” (ft. Hypomaniacs), “Sludgecity and “Machine Mosh Pit” wasn’t an easy one but Medusa In My Knckers (MIMK), Laforcah, Skitsnygg, Lo-Fi Bitches and Vegamoore are all names who can deliver some bangers and they didn’t disappoint. Add to the 5 remixes 1 new original by Gor FLsh plus 2 free remixes by Flesh and Ahllex and you can say that the “Gor FLsh Remixed” EP deserves the description of another “elbow in the face” release, as the Gor Flsh LP did too. So, check it out, get your distortion levels to the max and have a great evening!

Time to wrap things up and finish another Metalectro session and let’s close with a bang and one of my favorite tracks of the year so far and an undisputed “remix of the day” too. Having said that it was pretty hard to pick just 1 remix out of Tim Tonik‘s debut EP “Still No Commercial Music”, out last month on Jet Set Trash, as my favorite as all the remixes by Beatbender, Hypomaniacs, Dave Scorp and ofcourse this huge collaboration between Skitsnygg & Monolith that were featured on the EP were equally great. Still, i had to pick one and this was my choice, based also on my love for the original track as well. In any case an absolutely great banger by the 2 producers and i personally hope many more collaborations between these 2 will follow! That’s all, play it loud and have a great evening!
