Goin on with a preview next which definitely has a lot of potential and is expected to be a big release but to be honest personally i am slightly vexed about after checking the preview. Cyberpunkers had their new EP “Whatta Mask” out on Freakz Me Out recently and now they’re back with a Remixes EP, as expected, since the initial EP release didn’t feature any remixes. So far so good and being a fan of Cyberpunkers too i was looking forward to the Remixes EP, since the originals no doubt have great remix potential. Right from the start though i’m having certain doubts, as the 2 re-edits of “Whatta Mask” and “Ogre’s Ballad” that open the remixes EP make me wonder what the reason for having 2 out of the 3 originals re-edited and re-released so soon is. As for the rest of the tracks, expect some nice but still not fully convincing, personally speaking and judging from the preview, remixes by Access Denied and Megastrom, Pink Is Punk, which sound pretty nice, as well as by Cold Blank, Pyramyth, Baseface, Rusty Warriors and Jaimie Fanatic. I will be definitely looking checking out the full release again and hope to change my mind about it but until then, here is the preview so hit play and see what you think for yourselves.
Going on with a new release and a more than familiar name on this blog – being featured here with countless tracks already it´s time for another post of South Africa´s loudest electro duo Hypomaniacs and their latest release named “Attack Soldier“! Out as from yesterday on Freakz Me Out, their second EP features exclusively originals, three strictly speaking and judging by the previews (and the only drop of bitterness as being a bit too short imo) that have been uploaded sounding pretty much like easily fulfilling everyone´s expectations as all tracks consisting of heavy electro and Stacey´s martial vocals stayed true to Hypomaniacs´ remarkable and unique style! Getting curious? Hit play and check the tracks out!!!
Well the time to call it a day has come once again and i have decided to go for a grand finale with this brand new and pretty nice video by Cyberpunkers for their even nicer latest original track and brand new EP “Whatta Mask”. The EP was out on Freakz Me Out a couple of weeks ago featuring 3 original tracks, with of course “Whatta Mask” being not only the main track on the release but also one of those classic Cyberpunkers style gems. Bouncy, banging and groovy, “Whatta Mask” has got it all and now even has a pretty nice video as well to go along with the audio for all those seeking to overdose with the Italian duo’s latest intoxicating electro and panic inducing track! Nothing else to add here really, except maybe from phrases like “crank the volume all the way up” and “play it loud”. And with this supercharged video and last post, i will be wishing you all a great evening! Enjoy and stay tuned, more electro madness coming tomorrow!
Hell-o all and i hope you had a great weekend! Monday again and safe to say the most hated day of the week but since moaning about it never really helped i’ll skip to the important and good stuff right away! And what is the important and good stuff? What else than our favorite hyper-energised electro music? Starting big with a preview today and the new Cyberpunkers “Whatta Mask” EP, out on Freakz Me Out on the 6th of May. 3 pretty nice and unique sounding originals, blending various styles together but still maintaing their own sound and style at the same time. “Whatta Mask” is definitely the banger of the EP and the track that stands out imo but if you expect a “Fuck The System” or “Needed To Go” style banger you’ll have to keep waiting. Still a pretty nice EP though so check the preview out!
Last post and another surprise coming, as i have a 24 hour exclusive preview of Belzebass‘ new EP “Under Torture”. So, those of you looking for some thrashing bass by one of Italy’s most established electro artists, here’s a chance to get a first taste and a listen to Belzebass‘ “Under Torture” EP before anyone else. Belzebass‘ new EP is out on the 22nd of April on Freakz Me Out and will feature 5 originals, 3 of them being collaborations with Justrock, No Color and Nitro. As for what you should expect from it, heavy distorted bass and raw trash power, like you would expect by the duo. Definitely a nice preview and an EP to look forward to, as Belzebass seem to be back on the filthy path they kind of strayed from with their last EP imo. Check this out and have a great evening!
