artworks-000078607035-957ka1-t500x500Next comes a preview of an upcoming release and a single by Baseface that drops on May 13th through Freakz Me Out. A nice guitar fueled and vocal driven original that certainly sits well with our tastes and pleases our eardrums. Obvious rock and not only influences by Moscow, Russia, EDM producer Gordy and british multi-instrumentalist, ex-Prodigy drummer Kieron Pepper who together they have formed Baseface and definitely a nice track and preview that serves as a great appetiser but has left me hungry and curious to hear more by the duo. Until tomorrow though that the full track will become available this all we’re going to get from Baseface  as far as new tracks go so check out the preview and stay tuned if hungry for more.

Last post of the day and after lady Hellectro‘s loud intervention it’s my turn to wrap things up with one more freebie and a pretty nice remix by Deenk who is only being featured here for the first time, so here’s some fresh blood to close the day with. Definitely a worthy “remix of the day” imo and a remix that might not be brand new but it was only a few days ago that the full length version of Deenk‘s remix “Flashlight”, originally a collaboration track between BaseFace & Saint Rider that was released on the “Flashlight” Remixes EP on Freakz Me Out a couple of months ago. The EP also featured remixes by La Musique D’Ordinateur, Voltage and Engage but Deenk really shined his flashlight upon us all with his remix and was the big positive surpsise on this release. So here’s his remix available as a freebie too, check it out, grab it and have a great evening!

Goin on with a preview next which definitely has a lot of potential and is expected to be a big release but to be honest personally i am slightly vexed about after checking the preview. Cyberpunkers had their new EP “Whatta Mask” out on Freakz Me Out recently and now they’re back with a Remixes EP, as expected, since the initial EP release didn’t feature any remixes. So far so good and being a fan of Cyberpunkers too i was looking forward to the Remixes EP, since the originals no doubt have great remix potential. Right from the start though i’m having certain doubts, as the 2 re-edits of “Whatta Mask” and “Ogre’s Ballad” that open the remixes EP make me wonder what the reason for having 2 out of the 3 originals re-edited and re-released so soon is. As for the rest of the tracks, expect some nice but still not fully convincing, personally speaking and judging from the preview, remixes by Access Denied and Megastrom, Pink Is Punk, which sound pretty nice, as well as by Cold Blank, Pyramyth, Baseface, Rusty Warriors and Jaimie Fanatic. I will be definitely looking checking out the full release again and hope to change my mind about it but until then, here is the preview so hit play and see what you think for yourselves.
