Usually you won’t see many non-music related posts coming on this space, but every now and then something that is way too cool to ignore comes along which we believe is worth sharing, regardless of being music related or not and this is definitely one of those cases. Just a couple of days ago a hillarious and very creative series of photos by toy photographer Hrjoe Photography emerged on the internet, depicting various super hero action figures (plus Mr. Bean) in unusual and funny situations that you couldn’t have possibly imagined before. By using very highly detailed action figures and the post production needed to add even more realism, Edy Hardjo (Hrjoe Photography), not only succeeded in adding a new dimension to some of the most famous super hero personalities by giving them a “pathology” but also proved that with a creative mind, action figures can become a lot more than just toys. Video: Le Catcheur, La Pute & Le Dealer X Elisa Do Brasil – Guess Who’s Back

The French Electronic colourful lawbreaking trio that goes by the name Le Catcheur, La Pute & Le Dealer is back with a new track and as they usually do, they once again graced us with a new music video too. Following their “Smell My Fingers” and “Death Race” singles and videos, “Guess Who’s Back” is the third official release by the trio. Elisa Do Brasil is also joining their ranks for this new single, which was made available yesterday as a free download. Don’t expect any high speed car chases and the trio breaking any laws like we are used to see them do often in their past videos but a video that follows in their footsteps of their debut “Smell My Fingers”, based on a nice Ballet-Dubstep/Drum N Bass choreography. Hell-o all and we’re getting the day started in terms of blogging and in general with a new release that’s packing some serious bass and firepower, coming by two artists that haven’t been featured on Metalectro before so, here’s some tasty fresh blood too to go along your milk and cookies or any personal breakfast preferences. Regardless of breakfast preferences though and as long as you like being hit hard by lots of bass in the face there is no doubt you’re going to enjoy Igor Graphite‘s and Ekzoid‘s collaboration EP “Spaceport”, out on Heavy Artillery Recordings yesterday. Two Dubstep/Drumstep originals (don’t let the 4 track set below fool you), one of them featuring BBK on vocals and if you like the idea of robots marching to war (against dinosaurs maybe?) then this one will feel like a post-apocalyptic robot war nuclear heaven to your ears. Review: Beatbender “Elevate” LP

Continuing with some new music and a release we here on Metalectro were looking forward to for some time now, especially after the release of the official video for Beatbender‘s “Elevate”. But as of today the duo’s debult album “Elevate” is finally available through Jet Set Trash and let us tell you that it doesn’t fall short of any expectations one might have had from the video, lead singles or enthusiastic and boasting press release. “Elevate” LP comes with 10 originals that move between Electro, Techno and Electronica and having listened to the full release (a few time already) it definitely is an album of high quality and production standards. Dark, heavy, elegant and fresh are the words that come to mind to best describe Beatbender‘s album as a whole. From the first second of the opening and mysterious track, titled “The Strange Story Of Elisa Lam” (those of you familiar with the actual story of Elisa Lam will grasp its beauty on another level), to last one of the chilled Drum & Bass “Outro” this is both a great album and one you should definitely not miss!
