The French Electronic colourful lawbreaking trio that goes by the name Le Catcheur, La Pute & Le Dealer is back with a new track and as they usually do, they once again graced us with a new music video too. Following their “Smell My Fingers” and “Death Race” singles and videos, “Guess Who’s Back” is the third official release by the trio. Elisa Do Brasil is also joining their ranks for this new single, which was made available yesterday as a free download. Don’t expect any high speed car chases and the trio breaking any laws like we are used to see them do often in their past videos but a video that follows in their footsteps of their debut “Smell My Fingers”, based on a nice Ballet-Dubstep/Drum N Bass choreography. Definitely one to check out so enjoy the video for some serious moves! Continue reading »

A artist name that we have definitely missed the last few months is that of our favorite priest duo You Killing Me, who just had a new release out a few days ago on Freakz Me Out and therefore we have something new by them to talk about. The duo had their “Lonely” EP, which includes 3 originals, a few days ago. Two of the tracks have been made public for a while ago (“The 300 Spartans” and “Jean D’Arc”) on the artist Soundcloud but finally saw an official release on February 18, together with the EP same-titled track “Lonely”. Those who have been following You Killing Me‘s work for a while should know what to expect in “Lonely” which follows in the footseps of the most recent You Killing Me work and if you like their vocal driven yet powerful tracks then you’re going to love “Lonely”. And as if the new track/release wasn’t enough to make the duo’s fans happy, an unofficial video for “Lonely” was uploaded on You Killing Me‘s channel using footage from a short film by Adam Berg and Stink Digital titled “Philips Carousel” and let say that the result is looking great, making the whole audio-visual package and experience very enjoyable. So, here’s the unofficial video for “Lonely” and we hope you like it as much as we did. Continue reading »

Savant is a name that really needs no introductions among EDM fans (and not only). The super productive and creative artist from Norway has already built a resume and discography just in the last couple of years that would take most artists a decade to build. And now, he takes things to the next level (if there is a next level when talking about Savant) by employing the services of another creative genius, Mike Diva, for the official music video of his track “Kali 47”, from Savant‘s “Cult” LP released on SectionZ Records. The result is a visually stunning, effects laden steampunk themed video, based on a Western movie concept. Definitely impressive and a great match for Savant‘s music, which needed a special visual treatment and Mika Diva more than delivered. If you haven’t watched it yet make sure you sit comfortably and prepare yourselves to be awed by this piece of audiovisual greatness! Enjoy! Continue reading »

Staying on the dark path we took with today’s opening post and here’s Beatbender‘s official video for “Elevate”, from their upcoming debut album, out February 23 on Jet Set Trash. The video, which was filmed and directed by Hugo Magalhães of H-M photography, focuses on beautifully dark and atmospheric imagery which suits the mood of the track perfectly well. Besides it’s not unusual for a music video not to follow a story or narrative, something that works pretty well in “Elevate” and doesn’t make it a less enjoyable experience by any means but on the contrary it compliments the track. As for the track itself, it’s a nice, fresh and dark track which falls more under general Electronica rather than any EDM-esque Electro House sound, as is the whole “Elevate” LP too. If you want to get a more in depth taste you can check the LP minimix here or simply stay tuned for a more extended album review soon. Continue reading »
