Greetings to all bassheads out there and hope you had a great weekend. Slow start in the week in terms of blogging after what turned out to be a busy weekend but we’re getting back on track and some new music always helps so here comes Dodge & Fuski and 12th Planet who collaborated recently on “Big Riddim Monsta”, out on Disciple Recordings a week ago. And because one riddim monsta is never enough though the release came with a b-side as well, titled “Jump”. As for what you can expect to hear on Dodge & Fuski‘s new single, well the release title is pretty much self-explanatory. Review: Mantis (feat. Armanni Reign) “Slangin’ / Warmonger”

Next up comes a name that we’ve always loved on this blog since the very early days due to their dark, heavy, no holds barred Dubstep and even Metalstep. And even though the Atlanta based duo Mantis hasn’t been featured here as often as they once were, we’re definitely happy to hear some new music coming by them with their brand new single “Slangin’ / Warmonger” (feat. Armanni Reign) which was released a few days ago on Uplink Audio. Two new originals and if you expect some Trap or cheesy EDM here you better keep moving on folks because Mantis are going full power and heavy, just the way we like it and would expect by the duo. Review: I Think I Broke Something “Face Lift Remixed” EP

More new music coming and it’s time to go underground with this remixes EP for I Think I Broke Something‘s “Face Lift”. If you’re familiar with the Finland based live duo then you must probably already be aware of their pretty different, unique and fresh style and sound which borders Indie Dance, Electronica, Punk and good ol’ hard Electro. And whether you like their music or not, which is pretty characteristic no doubt, you have to admit it has to be somewhat hard to remix. The good news is that Father, Laforcah and Hijack Da Bass who were the three artists chosen to remix the tracks from ITIBS‘ latest EP were up to the challenge and they most definitely delivered. A heavy and dark trash Electro/Techno remix of “To Hell” by the London based duo, rude Electro Punk by Italy’s loudest duo and trademark sounding energy filled Electro House by Hijack Da Bass was the outcome. Preview: Bassnectar “Into The Sun” LP

Bassnectar is an artist that needs no introductions and even though we haven’t posted about him in quite a long time here we’re happy to have some fresh new music by him to talk about. His name might have been circulating music blogs lately for a few reasons, namely for his “taking the piss on EDM” move, but we will stick strictly to his music and how could we not when he’s just made public five tracks from his upcoming “Into The Sun” LP? The LP is out June 30 and we have to say that the expectations are very high after listening to these new tracks, which are available for download already when you pre-order the LP. From guitar rocking powerblasts to massive sounding bass music and from Trap to downtempo Electronica these new Bassnectar tracks are exactly what every “basshead” could hope for and already set very high standards for his new LP (as if there was any doubt ever) both from a production standpoint as well as creative. Review: Irving Force “The Violence Supressor” EP

Having some fresh blood coming your way today with Swedish artist Irving Force, who just had a new EP titled “The Violence Supressor” out a few days ago. A very recent find and one of those artists that really caught our ear, Irving Force‘s music is following the 80’s dark and heavy synthwave path. Sometimes more 80’s influnced Electronica, sometimes more rock/metal and other times straight heavy sounding Electro, his new EP includes 4 originals that should take you on a crazy, noisy and fun ride through neon-retro-futuristic soundscapes. Definitely a nice combination of elements and ideas that left us with a very nice buzzing in our ears, we will definitely be looking forward to hearing more by Irving Force. How about you?
