Next-to-last i´ll sweeten your evening with a preview of this upcoming EP by Beurk! & Circe that is supposed to be released the 15th of September on THaF Records! “Never Be Me” is its title and will feature the same-titled original by Beurk! with vocals by the electro diva Circe alongside four further remixes by Brass Monkey, Macrowave, Nicolas S. and No Fake?. Sounds quite promising judging by its teaser, delivering a soulful original plus eclectic and varying remixes, but when it comes to the names involved i´m honestly not a bit concerned this EP won´t be able to live up to everyone´s expectations! Time to check the teaser out!!!

Time to wrap things up a bit earlier i actually thought, at least my pick for the “remix of the day” seems to be available so far and hopefully stays on Soundcloud, so if this one appears within short time as well i could probably take it personally…(kidding) but when it comes to Macrowave who got his mind and hands creative once again by remixing the track “Everest” by J.A.C.K, i´m actually quite optimistic it´ll be available for a longer time anyway! And if anyone would have asked me in advance whether Macrowave remixing J.A.C.K sounds appealing to me i´d definitely have said yes, and as expected it also turned out, so here´s a playful & groovy, but still catchy and overall well done remix for you to check out and another well deserved “ROTD” for Macrowave as well! Hell-o all and i hope you had a great weekend! Monday again and the inevitable start of the working week is upon us, which means the Metalectro crew is back on duty as well and ready to fire some megatons of bass upon you all, just to help make the day and week better. So, let’s get started and lets get bass-ing with a brand new release by Moda and Shax Trax, out just a few hours ago. “Scary Keeper” is the title of the EP and it features 1 original plus remixes by RYKR, Hijack Da Bass, Macrowave and Silent H!. Overall a nice release, with Moda putting on display once again those nice lively sounding synths as well as the nice groove he’s shown is capable of in his previous tracks. Nice work on the remixes too, with Silent H! definitely winning the eardum satisfaction battle imo, so overall a tasty EP to start with. Check it out!

Next i have this pretty good and thereby promising sounding preview of the upcoming EP by Moda named “Scary Keeper” for you! Featuring four remixes by familiar and hence Metalectro approved names such as Hijack Da Bass, Silent H!, Macrowave and RYKR alongside the same-titled original “Scary Keeper”, this EP is supposed to be released on Shax Trax the 24th of June and judging by its teaser most likely something to look forward to. The combination of all remixes bringing out their main points while keeping the typical and marked style of each remixer with the simple, but melodic and pleasantly hard “trash-rave” original by Moda left a good impression in my ears and i bet you´ll like it too – so check the teaser out!!!

New Release: Macrowave “Dancing Plague” EP

Going on with another new release next and just looking at the remixer line up makes me wanna play this one loud. So, let’s put this new EP by Macrowave and BADD Records to the test and see whether it’s really as loud as its line up suggests. It’s titled “Dancing Plague” and besides the 2 originals it also features 3 remixes by Pelussje, Hantise and Blaster. The 2 originals certainly lived up to my expectations, as they are hard and loud but also have that sweet, dark, almost hypnotising Macrowave sound and feel. As for the 3 remixes, big ups to Hantise and Blaster who are taking this EP to the next level with their remixes but i can’t say the same about the Pelussje remix too, which felt a bit out of place style-wise and a bit “plastic” imo. A nice EP overall and one you should definitely play loud!
