Hell-o all and after an extended silence from our side here’s a pretty quick and evil comeback and a multi-purpose post in a sense since we have a killer new track and release and an official video for it, all in one. Hijack Da Bass shouldn’t really need any inrtoduction to those of you following the blog and hard Electro scene in general. With 3 official EPs under their belt and countless remixes for Zardonic, Lock N Bounce, Laforcah and Vegamoore (just to mention a few) the duo from Portugal has been delivering their highly energised Electro for a while and now they are back with a new EP. Out on JST Records last week, their EP titels “Demon Club” comes with 2 originals as well as 3 remixes by Imagin8, The Silent H and Bombastard who all added their personal touch to the 2 originals. As for the originals, Hijack Da Bass are taking their sound to the next level while at the same time keeping their very characteristic trademark sound. And in cas that’s not enough “Demon Club” comes with an official video too. Dark, demonic (obviously) and cool, the video was done to pay homage to horror themes the duo has always enjoyed and as an effort to explore the psychology of horror. So, enough words, time to let the audio and visual work of Hijack Da Bass speak for itself so check out the video below and of course “Demon Club” EP here.

Coming to my pick for the “remix of the day” yet as my last post is going to include quite some tracks and needs some more time to edit, so i´ll award the ROTD already now! Today´s honorand should actually be familiar to all of you having been featured here pretty often and especially when it comes to his remixes a very appreciated name for my part, being a reliable deliverer of hard n kicking tunes, so once again it´s Silent H! snatching another ROTD! This time he remixed “Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat” by Fatboy Slim & Riva Starr, a track that isn´t really my cup of tea in its original version, but like almost everything Silent H! gets his hands on to remix turned out very well in the end, so here it is – check it out and grab your copy!!!

Hell-o all and i hope you had a great weekend! Monday again and the inevitable start of the working week is upon us, which means the Metalectro crew is back on duty as well and ready to fire some megatons of bass upon you all, just to help make the day and week better. So, let’s get started and lets get bass-ing with a brand new release by Moda and Shax Trax, out just a few hours ago. “Scary Keeper” is the title of the EP and it features 1 original plus remixes by RYKR, Hijack Da Bass, Macrowave and Silent H!. Overall a nice release, with Moda putting on display once again those nice lively sounding synths as well as the nice groove he’s shown is capable of in his previous tracks. Nice work on the remixes too, with Silent H! definitely winning the eardum satisfaction battle imo, so overall a tasty EP to start with. Check it out!

Next i have this pretty good and thereby promising sounding preview of the upcoming EP by Moda named “Scary Keeper” for you! Featuring four remixes by familiar and hence Metalectro approved names such as Hijack Da Bass, Silent H!, Macrowave and RYKR alongside the same-titled original “Scary Keeper”, this EP is supposed to be released on Shax Trax the 24th of June and judging by its teaser most likely something to look forward to. The combination of all remixes bringing out their main points while keeping the typical and marked style of each remixer with the simple, but melodic and pleasantly hard “trash-rave” original by Moda left a good impression in my ears and i bet you´ll like it too – so check the teaser out!!!

Hell-o you all, i hope you´re doing fine! Last week i had to skip blogging unfortuntely and even though i lost track on pretty much almost everything soundcloud-wise, i made it today get another Metalectro session for you under way, bringing your eardrums in motion again! And as an appropriate getting started for today´s blogging i picked this older but just recently been uploaded track by Silent H! named “Smoker”  feat. Jon Curtis, the British decided to give away for free! Glad he came up with this although it´s not the most recent tune, as this is another distinctive and typical staccato-electro banger true to the sound Silent H! stands for and definitely worth being checked out, so go for it & grab this goodie!!!
