Going on with one more new release and some more fresh blood by Still Alive, who had his single “Specter” released on Rockforce Records on July 1st. Still Alive is an electro producer based in Glasgow, Soctland and if i am not mistaken this is his debut release, although he has had some tracks released on various compilations as well as remixes before. Anyway, back to the track at hand, “Specter” is a nice sounding melodic electro house track which certainly isn’t the heaviest track you’ve ever heard, more so on this blog. The release comes with one remix by the Brasilian Blackbird Sound as well, who have been mentioned here once before and certainly didn’t disappoint with their version of “Specter”. A big and full sounding electro house remix that makes what would have been a nice release anyway even better and gives it a heavier touch. Check out both tracks and keep an eye/ear on these guys!
Hell-o all from my part of digital hell too and after the hellectric opener in the day and week by hte basstastic lady Hellectro it’s my turn to keep our ears buzzing and in order to do that i have recruited some fresh blood for my first post of the day and an artist from Tokyo, Japan, that goes by the name Dubscribe. Don’t let the fact that this is a fresh blood and debut post for Dubscribe on Metalectro or that it look s like an early EP preview (due to the title or cover art) mislead you, this is a killer, loud, tight and huge sounding dubstep EP that will make even the most unlikely ones among you to headbang hurt your necks. One of the most banging upcoming releases i’ve heard in a while, which combines power and high octane energy with heaviness and quality production. Definitely one to look forward to, so make you check this preview out!
Switching genre a bit to a new release and a name that i mistakenly thought has been featured here before, but obviously hasn´t as i ran a search with zero results, so you´ll also get your almost daily dose of fresh blood hereby, this time coming from Budapest/Hungary and being a one man project named Mongoose! The EP i´m featuring today is called “Continuous“, includes three original tracks and has been released on Glitch Hop Community end of June. Like the label´s name already suggests a throughout glitch hop release, but pretty damn nice tracks imo, especially “All Units” based on my personal taste & being the hardest track, but better get yourself an impression, hit the play button and check the tracks out!!!
Hell-o and cheers everybody! Time for another Metalectro session to get under way, hoping all will work out well since the day started already with glorious Soundcloud issues, which are allegedly about to be solved, so fingers crossed we´ll all get what we want to hear… Anyway, i´ll do what i can, so let´s get started with a nice freebie and some fresh blood slopping out from Mexico and going by the name The Mechanist. “Girl With Guns” is the track´s name i thankfully found on AfterMess and besides having a nice title i´d gladly belong to, it´s a pretty cool and partly guitar fueled uptempo drumstep banger – just check it out and get that goodie!!!
Last post of the day and i will keep the freebies and fresh blood but this time i will make sure it is the kind of fresh blood that flows from kncoking ones teeth out and i have the perfect tool and track for that as well. My “remix of the day” undoubtedly and a filthy bass bomb that will explode and smash your face in, that’s the kind of track i have saved for last and it’s Rekoil‘s remix on Getter‘s “Knuckle Buster”, a title that i think fits perfectly to my description and of course the sound of the track. So, with this i will kick your butts into having a great weekend and we should be back sometime during the weekend to wrap up the Drop Goblin week with an interview as well, so don’t get too wasted and make sure you come back and check this space for it! That’s all for now, bass-bombs away and have a great evening!!!
