Going on with another new release and this one is as new and fresh as it gets really since it was just out yesterday on Moonkeys Music and a release that brings back on Metalectro a name we like and love, Christine. Needless to say that if you are reading this post and aren’t yet familiar with Christine you have some homework to do and this is as good an introduction as anything by Christine really. The “No Way Remixes” EP features 1 radio edit of the original mix plus 4 remixes by The Dirty Squirrels, 1906 (the 2 remixes we have picked to post here today), The Name and Mag Spencer. Great work by both The Dirty Squirrels and 1906 who have delivered 2 remixes that kept the original’s character while at the same time adding their own elements. If you’re after some dirty French Electro just hit play and check these remixes out.

Time for a freebie and since this will most likely stay the only freebie for today considering my other choices, i picked a bigger package for you (given though So French Records) featuring altogether five tracks, four of them being originals plus one remix! It´s the latest and also first EP by the Portuguese producer 1906 who delivered quite some freebies that have been featured here yet and so the story continues with this sweet gift named “Lisbon” EP, which is obviously a conceptual EP since all tracks do not only have the same names (separated by parts though), but also a strong and easily hearable connection to each other, still differ though as each track has its own character. Capped off with an also very well done remix by Mac Stanton, this EP by 1906 is a pretty cool and pleasantly french-touched composition overall one gets literally taken on a journey with, so make sure to check all tracks out and grab your copy exclusively on Earmilk!!!

Another Metalectro session is about to end, so here comes another, last freebie and remix number six, this time done by the Portuguese 1906 on the track “Pumped Up Kicks” by Foster The People! When knowing the original of that track this remix turns out pretty unexpected, but having said that damn cool as well, as the relation to the original has been kept enough to recognize it, but also pretty creative main points been brought out at the same time, combining a certain kind of unconventionality with lovely hard and nasty beats! Cool stuff by 1906 that pumped me up by all means, so get pumped as well, check and grab this remix and have a banging evening!!!
