Having already talked about dark sounds earlier, this next track comes almost naturally as Tim Tonik has always been an artist to count on when it came to hard, dark electro. And his new original, which is also available as a free download, is no exception. Not the classic Tim Tonik style of hard electro we have come to know and love the last couple of years but nevertheless, still hard and dark. The Germany based artist seems to have managed to keep some of those characteristic elements of his sound in “Hate” but also to add a few fresh ones. Deeper, more atmospheric and cleaner than his previous works but still hard, his new track certainly signs of experimentation that can only leave is all wondering what’s to follow by Tim Tonik but still all those familiar with his sound will feel right at home and instantly recognise his trademark sound. Check it out and grab it!
Hell-o all and here we are starting another week with some heavy and super enrgised sounds, so get ready as we have quite a few heavy hitters coming your way, packing a punch and a lot of bass. And what a better stat in the blogging day than a dark and heavy LP preview by Mr. Skeleton, who after some quite unfortunate and unlucky incidents that forced him to create a new Soundcloud account and start from scratch, is back with some new material and an upcoming LP. The title of the LP is “The Absence Of Good” and features 15 dark “skelectronic” originals, for those familiar with the LA based producer’s sound. For the rest, we’ll just let Mr. Skeleton‘s music speak for itself really so hit play first and ask questions later.
Time to wrap things up with what else than the “remix of the day” and for those of you who might have missed this raw, dark, baby bass monster and previously unheard remix by Monophonique on Samuel iEtto‘s “First Contact” then you are in for some greatness of the heavy kind, as expected really byboth these artists. A great remix that never saw the light of day, so we decided to take it under the Metalectro roof and make it available as free download, so we hope you enjoy it and is one of those track that inspire you to turn the volume all the way up! That’s all for today, enjoy, grab it and for those who do actually still bother to read, have a great evening!
Staying heavy and trashy with some incoming fresh blood and a very enjoyable Free EP by Fatalcst. Hailing from Mexico, a country that has been feeding our trashy bass needs the last few years with plenty of dark, banging and nasty (always in a good way) electro tracks and home of many artists whose tracks have been torturing our and your speakers repeatedly, Fatalcst seems to be following in the same exact raw and dark footsteps too. Loud and heavy, Fatalcst‘s “Campfire” EP isn’t polished colourful kiind of electro. But for all those trained in the distorted dark sounds and feel of the more underground trash electro scene the 4 out of the 5 originals will definitely stand out and leave a sweet buzzing in their ears. Definitely an impressive first for Fatalcst on Metalectro and an EP to check and grab by all means. So hit play, give a “hot as hell” welcome to Fatalcst and disturb your neighboors!
Going with one more preview of some upcoming greatness and it’s time for things to get slightly darker and heavier, as one would expect from the duo that goes by the name Da Octopusss. The mysterious bass duo has uploaded one more preview from their upcoming release and once again those fans of the heavy bass and twisted electro Da Octopusss have been delivering will not be disappointed. “Indians” might not as dark or twisted as some of their previous work it’s still as great and characteristic as all of the duo’s tracks. Definitely not electro from the lollipop lands of the Top Beatport charts or big festival stages, this is bass coming straight out of the abyss that Da Octopusss‘ minds are and is highly enjoyable stuff by our standards and according to our eardrums. Don’t take our word for it though, especially when you can have a listen yourself so hit play and check out “Indians” for yourselves.
