Just like the opening post, we stay dark and heavy, this time with a freebie by an artist who those regulars on Metalectro should be quite familiar with by now as his passion for orchestral death metal and hard electro has made him a Metalectro all timer since the very early days. Mexico’s native Rocket is back with a new free EP titled “Exodium”, with it’s theme and concept revolving around Norse mythology. Great filthy sound, great atmosphere and orchestral parts and definitely a different and refreshing touch as not many artists dare to push the boundaries of electronic music like Rocket has done before and did once more in “Exodium”. Definitely an EP to check out and grab so just hit play and enjoy!

Having gone to the dark side with the previous post we might as well keep going even darker or might even say pitch black with this last post and free original track by Mr. Skeleton. It’s his latest original titled “Closer” and the track that marks the LA based artist’s comeback after having to go through some very unpleseant and unfortunate adventures with his Soundcloud profile which resulted in losing his account and having to start a new one from scratch. As annoying as that most certainyl is though, especially when losing a big number of tracks, plays and followers Mr. Skeleton is back in full dark “skeletronic” bass action and his track “Closer”, as well as the preview of his upcoming LP “The Absence of Good”, prove that he is back for good and that it will take much more than a hacker and any Soundcloud/social media problems to keep him from delivering the dark sounds we all know and love by him. So, check out”Closer”, grab it and make sure to follow Mr. Skeleton‘s new account to stay up to date with all his new tracks!

Staying on the dark side and here comes some more fresh blood too and the second newcomer of the day on Metalectro, who goes by the name Perturbator. To borrow Perturbator‘s autobigraphical info from his Soundcloud profile, “the legend says he’s half human, half synthesizer”. Well, we can’t confirm neither doubt the legends and folklore surrounding Perturbator but let us tell you that first we like the idea of this legend being true a lot and second we don’t care because we like his music. A mix of 80’s dark electro and synthwave, darksynth as Perturbator himself likes to call it and all those of you who are fans of the style are going to love his work. So, here’s his latest original titled “She Moves Like A Knife” and it’s time to let the synths ( or half synth-half human actually) to do the talking, so press play and enjoy!

Here comes another remix and free track and the return of the Brasilian dup Monster Kill who just recently remixed another Brasilian duo, Blackbird Sound and the track “Empathy”.  A nice Dubstep remix that does sound “monster-big” and takes an already very nice Electro House original into a new direction while at the same time keeping the very nice melodic parts. A free download too through Monster Kill‘s Facebook page for all those who want to add some more bass in their mp3 libraries so don’t hesitate to grab it by any means and make sure to check out the original mix as well, which has already been blogged here.

Going on with a remix and a track by an artist who hasn’t been featured here for a while but has been around and has earned his fair share of posts since the early days of this blog. Malcolm Funktion is back on Metalectro with his remix of Unknown Soldier‘s “Cougar” which apparently was released a few months back on the same-titled EP on Madhype Records. Now the remix is also available as a free download through Malcolm Funktion‘s Soundcloud for all those who might have missed it the first time around as part of the “Cougar” EP to check it out and grab it. A nice remix which was released with some sort of technical errors previously, so even if you have heard if before this is how the track was supposed to sound so check it out.
